Remarks

So I started my prep in class 12th after midterms I knew that I am late but it was ok . so my main goal was dtu or nsut but my scores were not upto the mark for that so my friends told me go to ip university, then I applied for counselling in IPU I got selected in a few collages but I was not getting cse so I decided to go with DITM, but now I think it was a wrong decision overall, if you want my advice dont come here at any cost go for amity or any other private college, I did not have any quota that was also a difficult thing for me, minimum marks to get into this college was 60% in class 12th and rank will be based upon cut off but if you are under 2.5l it's easy. The admission process was smooth no issues in that no councelling day was held I got a seat allotment letter then the college called me and then deposited the fees and classes started after 8- 10 days

Course Curriculum Overview

1

So my goal was to become a software engineer since childhood, I also learned a decent level of programming in my school itself, it was clear that I only have to go with CSE branch or related to that only . Student to faculty ratio is pretty decent in our class there are 20 students and some teachers take 2 subjects also so there is no issue regarding faculty to student ratio. About faculty i must say that they are qualified but they do not teach up to the mark, They dont have proper knowledge regarding to subject . The most shocking incident was that our hostel warden became the teacher of data structures whole class was shocked he didn't teach well the college did not provide a computer to him whole first year he taught programming verbally, term exams were easy it was not difficult the notes which were provided by our teachers most of the questions were related to it

Placement Experience

2

I think that students become eligible for placements is 7th semester. Companies visit this college like 70 - 80 but no tech giants come to this college and no big mnc's you have to prepare for off-campus placements for that i am not aware of the offers. the highest package on the pages is 15lpa but through alumni, we got know that it lies between 6- 10 lpa and the average package for cse is about 3-4 lpa . in every batch more than 60 - 70% get placed some are left abd some do not opt for placements and some go for off-campus placements. One thing if you are coming to this college do not expect anything you have to do everything on your own

Fees and Financial Aid

Ok so fees were the reason i decided to come here because it is only 95000 per annum which is very less compared to other colleges, and the fees were not hiked this year but on the other hand hostel fees was increased by 10000 per annum which was previously for 75000 now it is 85000. I did not talk about the scholarship to the college and financial assistance, talking about job and stipend i dont think it is going to happen in this college you have to work really hard and go for off-campus placements they proudly say that our highest package is 6lpa

Campus Life

3.5

The campus is pretty much clean and big talking about fests I did not get a chance because of covid but I got to know about that through seniors and they are decent not that big not that small. There is a big library and you can get any book you want related to your subjects. The classrooms are also good big and spacious. There are many sports activities available on the campus like football, athletics, badminton, basketball, gym and many indoor games too. I have a group named as codeforgen , and in this club, we have a community where everyone can teach ask doubt and do many things regarding coding

Hostel Facilities

4.5

In this college, i think hostels are the best. Hostel rooms are big they have 3 beds in each room but mostly 2 people stay in it and the best part is that it has an attached washroom and they also provide a dessert cooler so overall they are really good. Food is like every hostel but one demerit is that there is no nonveg provided here. There is no special registration for the mess it is included in the hostel fees which is 85000 and i think it is pretty affordable if you see you are getting food and place at 7000 per month, some of the friends stayed in pg there demerit was that they wasted the time in coming and going to the college on top of that more expenses also pg were located in gannaur

Special aspects is it has coding and it is related to technology. It prepares us very good for industries and further academic pursuits. Suggested area of improvement is in c++ coding class they teach us only theory not coding. Exams happens in every 2 months.

Placements rate is obviously not 100% but we do get companies and out of 150 students only 110 actually sit in the placement cycle and out of these about 70 students do get placed in good companies. The companies that visit consist of mondelez, Adani wilmar, zomato hyper pure, haldiram, loykaa, jubilent, baker's dozen, Lt foods, etc. The highest package goes up to 15 lakhs and average package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are done in the final year. In the 7th semester, students have to go for a semester-long industrial training. Some students are offered pre-placement offers, and some sit for the placement process. The highest packages have gone upto 8 LPA-10 LPA, in quality/supply chain/management related roles. More than 10-15 companies visit, and almost all of the students get placed. I personally would like to go for higher studies.
