Entrance Preview

I got admission through my JEE & PCM composite score. It was around 72.I wanted a college in Nashik & this particular college provided the best of the facilities here , be it the faculty , be it the labs or libraries. All of them are State of the art.

Internships Opportunities

Yes our college does provide internship . Some of the companies are Gnext , Taparia tools , NEC etc . They do not provide us with any kind of stipend but yes the experience is really great , it helps a lot in learning the industrial skills and even it helps us during the interviews.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement here is 100% provided you get good score throughout your academics . It is based on the eligibility criteria provided by the different companies like some companies demand a First Class score i.e. 60% throughout the 8 semesters some ask for aggregate 60% and for some 55% may be the par score. Some of the big companies were Toyota , amazon, WNS , L&T , Infotech ,LEAR, ZenSar. Packages range from 2-5 lakhs based on companies.

College Events

4

If you are interested in extra curricular activities this might the best college to be at. Be it sports , be it festive ,technical, cultural fests. You can bring out the best in you and show your extra ordinary talent . Events celebrated are the Sandipotsav , For cricket there's Engineer's cup , Celebrity night , DJ night , Aayam.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As it is an Engineering College you can expect the fee to be on a higher side. It is something around 87000-88000 (for open category students) exclusive of the examination fee and the extra curricular activities that you take up. And the fee varies according to the reservation and the income categories.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many of my friends have availed the facility of Scholarships . The one who were from the low income groups got something near 35000-40000 of their annual fee back.As the college is government affiliated you can take any kind of education loan which you can repay after the graduation.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college is just 6 years old so we don't have a huge chain of alumni but those are there are really helpful when it comes to taking some advice from them. The seniors share their experience well with us which proves to be a boon for us.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is as provided by the University. For the 1st 2 years you have 2 online exams ( 25 marks each ) and one theory exam of 50 marks. For 3rd and 4th year you have one In sem exam for 30 marks and an End sem for 70 marks and 2-3 orals or practical exam 50 marks each . No that is not a hectic day you can definitely bear that much load during your engineering.

Admission

I got admitted to the college through the CAP (Centralised Admission Process) rounds. In this process we first have to fill the forms to get into the CAP rounds and we are supposed to provide the names of the colleges according to our priorities. It is a centralised process so the merit lists of the colleges are based on how good the institute is, then a merit list is displayed upto a particular score (Composite score).

Faculty

4

The faculties here are really good. They get totally involved into the topic while teaching. They are the one whom you can look up to when you need some kind of advice. They are highly qualified ones . Ph.d holders pr M.tech in their particular disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement situation at my college is really good. It is getting better all the time. At my college students can start getting ready for internships and placement training from the semester. Then most of the full-time job opportunities start coming up in the semester. A lot of students at my college get something called Pre-Placement Offers or PPOs for short through internships before the actual placement season starts at my college. My college students get these PPOs. It is a big help to them. Placement, at my college is a deal and my college students take it very seriously. A lot of known companies come to the campus every year. The main companies that hire people from the campus are NVIDIA, JPMorgan Chase, Barclays, PhonePe, Microsoft, BMC Software and Citi Bank. Some companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Capgemini hire a lot of people from the campus. These companies, NVIDIA, JPMorgan Chase, Barclays, PhonePe, Microsoft, BMC Software and Citi Bank are really good at finding the people for the job. Companies, like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Capgemini also give jobs to students. The Placement Highlights for the year 2024 to 2025 are looking good far. We have had some results. The highest package offered to a student is 45 LPA. The median salary is 9.5 LPA. This is a sign because it means that most students are getting a decent salary. 86.3 Percent of students have been placed so far. The average package is different for each company and role. For example a software developer will get a package than an analyst or a data engineer. Students who get the paying roles usually have strong coding skills. They also have projects to show and they do well in their technical interviews and in Data Structure and Algorithms which we call DSA for short. Placement Highlights for the year 2024 to 2025 show that these skills are very important, for students. The college does not promise that every student will get a placement. It really depends on the student. Students who ta

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for placements from the 6th semester, but they have to complete the whole 8 semester to start working. Companies like L&T, HCC, J Kumar, TATA Projects are our major recruiters, many MNCs and other top company like to hire from NICMAR. The college has genuine 100% placement, the students who generally do not get placed are ones who have family business or startups. After completing the degree and mostly interested in a job for the 1 to 2 years to gain some experience. Then I may consider options like higher studies or a business.
