Value for money

I applied for only one college that was techno India Hooghly which was a good option for me because the course fees of that college were not very much expensive and this college was 30 minutes far from my home. I took admission from the management quota and took a part in the CET examination for joining the BCA course. No extra charges were taken from the college for admission through the management quota. For taking admission to BCA we had to have computer application/science otherwise Math as the main subject of higher secondary and pass marks was ok for taking admission. There was no age limit. We had to pass our hs with mentioned subjects and a valid cet rank card was needed.

I chose this course because I had an interest in programming language and I wanted to make my career in the professional line. The student and teacher ratio of that college is 6:1. The respective teachers are very helpful and friendly with students. The helps students with assignments and also take extra classes if required. They also trained us for campus placements and takes classes accordingly. The faculty teaching quality is excellent and I would like to give 8 out of 10 for this. The examination was held semester basis and we had to clear each paper. Exam question papers were not so difficult if we try we can clear the paper easily.

From the fifth semester, students can participate in college placement. There has a campus placement facility. Most popular companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM visit our college and hire freshers also. The lowest package was near about 60k per annum and the highest package was near about 2L/a. Near about 30% of students gets placements through campusing from college others are looking for off campusing placements. I passed out of college in 2021 and got a BCA degree. My plan now is for higher studies. Some of my friends got placement. One student also got more than one job opportunity.

College admission fees were 10,000 and semister fees was 24,500 and we had to give exam fees 1,200 separately . Additional charges like farewell, teacher's day, freshers, tech fest also taken from college . There have not any scholarship from college but we can get Scholarships from central govt or state govt . I didn't take any job opportunity because I wanted to do higher study. But our college placement record is not bad. Top companies like Tcs , Infosys Wipro comes to hire freshers from our college but this number is limited (1:6)

The college campus is very small from other colleges. Tech fest named Spark quest is conducted. Besides this teachers day, freshers, blood donation camp also organised by our verbena cultural committee members. There have well decorated classrooms with a suitable study environment. There have 2 large labs, a waiting room, maintained library also.
