Remarks

Okay, I Applied only for Government Engineering College Haveri because many of my friends and relatives suggested to me that the campus is very good and even the course I wanted to take was on the top So without thinking twice I just applied to only one college and I got the seat on the first round itself. And even I was not having any kind of Quota just GM seats with very good affordable fees. And the admission criteria wasn't that difficult the staffs of the office are so good that they will take you to the right path so that there is no problem for any of the student which just made me thought that yes I have made a right move in my life. And the minimum criteria for securing the seat was one should have the CET rank less than 45,000 and there isn't any kind of age limit because even the married women's were taken which would the nicest thing. And the Admission process was very Smooth and they counseled each and every person who got the admission And yes once again I felt that I made a Rightmove.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Yes, I chose the Civil engineering course because me from the starting I used to just love to design things and used to feel that y can't take this advantage as my career and this made me choose the right thing. To tell about the faculty I have already said that the staffs in the office are only very kind, then the faculty are very nice each and everyone is so so good that will solve each and every problem of the student one by one and will always be the backbone for the students. And even the labs were taken regularly and we used to learn more things from it and instead of that, there were functions like we used to make farewell, for Fresher's party and many more. And the exams were used to be conducted once in a month as internal test Which will be taken for 3months and out of that 2maximum were taken in the finals. And even the lab tests were conducted at the end when all the experiments used to over.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

During our internship program we took in Bangalore which was suggested by one of our faculty there we learned many practical things and the project we did on the 5Star Building Project they Cleared all the doubts and used to give clarification on each and every matter.

Placement Experience

5

For Civil engineering students, we do not have a campus but the campus used to come for other branches like EC and Cs but teachers used to give us ideas for heading our future through this course. And the campus was for final year students of other branches. And the percentage of the students getting placed were around 6-7students per year. And my plans after getting a degree I took the related course for setting my resume great and now I am working in One of Construction Company in my Native.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I was From GM I used to get a Vidyshree scholarship that is 18,000 from that we have to pay some amount to the KEA board and the remaining was given to us. And the college fees were very Affordable for us that was 2360/yr which used to change each and every year. And even the examination fees were Affordable.

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest used to be conducted once a year, The forum used to do Varda, before that we used to conduct a lot of games and sports and painting competition, dance competitions on Varda day and there will be 7 days Green day, Blue day, Western day, Traditional day, Saree day used to be conducted where each and everyone used to enjoy the moment there is a social group on Instagram where we get more additional information of the college feats and etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
