Remarks

Only applied to NMIMS. No other college. No quota application as it is a private college. NMAT marks a minimum of 230, the minimum age is 20. No counselling was attended. The admission process was NMAT followed by one round of interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview

This was the only course I could get into. Student faculty ratio is about 20:1. All professors have a graduate degree and must hold a PhD with multiple years of experience in both industry and academia A trimester system is used and tests are moderately difficult.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 210000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

No fee hikes as of now. 21L fees for 2 years exclusive of the hostel. Fees cover tuition, study material, campus facilities and other facilities. I don't know about scholarships or assistance. No on campus job is available.

Campus Life

Paragana is the annual fest. Other events are scattered throughout the year. College is online right now. Books and journals are made available through an online library and third party portals. Classroom amenities include smart classrooms, air conditioning etc. No idea about sports. Various clubs and committees are present and run by students.

Interview Experience

Yes, a personal interviews and written tests were present for admission. One round of PI after the written test. NMAT was the written test. It was conducted at the centre. PI had 3 panellists and was conducted online.

Placement Experience:

The college provides 100% final placements. The higest package is around 24 lakhs per annum. Average package is 9.56 lakhs per annum. The maximum recruiters are from the Manufacturing sector as they are almost 37% of total recruiters, followed by IT (27%), Consulting (7%), FMCG (4%), etc. Star recruiters are deloitte, Accenture, HDFC Life, Viacom 18, KPMG, ICICI Bank, Nomura, etc. Summer internships also have partial placements., with the highest stipend being around 50000 Rs per month.

I have applied for 3 exams namely CAT, XAT and NMAT and the colleges that I had applied for were all of the IIMs, XLRI, and NMIMS Mumbai. I did not choose the second and third generations IIMs as they are relatively new institutions and are still developing. I was not selected for XLRI. There is no minimum age for the program, but there is a minimum requirement of having a bachelor's degree. The cut off for NMIMS, Mumbai in NMAT exam was 235 with a sectional cut off of 75.
