Remarks

I did not apply for any colleges there than Jnu. I did not avail any quota for admission. Admission criteria for our program is college ask for the entrance test, but it is not compulsory also if you did not have good marks in neet or jee entrance test. The admission process was quite simple and non hectic as in all good private colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because after BSc students need to do msc but after BTech in biotechnology, students can directly apply for Ph.D. The faculty and students ratio is 1:5. Teachers are well qualified and teaching methods are very flexible and interactive. Term exams are of 3 hours and exams can be passed by regular self-studies of students and students passes by 1 day before exams studies also.

Class Size: 19Course Fees: INR 112000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is appropriate but some small amount of fees hikes after every year. Scholarships are appropriate for high scorers. Financial assistance is not good enough and jobs are difficult to get on campus with degrees other than computer sciences and mbbs students.

Campus Life

Technoraaz is the annual fest and tech fest and is conducted in the month of October and students enjoy very much in technoraaz. Books and journals are available in the library. Classrooms are well furnished and maintained with smart boards. Sports and extra curriculum activities on the campus are not much but students play cricket, volleyball, and basketball on the campus. Social groups are like TEK society and ICDFT for students is also run by students.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

Admission:

Through AIEEE or RPET or through management quota. One can just apply through the college portal and submit there Aieee marks. Though RPET is a preferred mode of entrance to any college in RTU. Management quota is also there for well off candidates and lesser marks

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.

JNU honest review with all pros and cons

This college has hospital due to which practical exposure is goos this is why i chose jnu over other colleges in jaipur. I tried on NIMS jaipur as well but reviews of nims is not that good.
