Remarks

I completed my Intermediate with Commerce so I wanted to pursue my career in management studies so I chose BBA and Jaipur National University opens up a lot of opportunities. It is ranked 70 for BBA by India Today in 2021. It is graded by NAAC. I registered myself from the official portal and gave the documents like 12th mark sheet, DOB certificate, Aadhar card etc for my admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

A variety of UG, PG and PhD programs are done at JNU. The BBA is a 3 year program and it is divided into 6 semesters. There are only core papers in the course. Special attention is given to the students for personality development. The professors are highly experienced and they share practical knowledge for holistic development. The semester exams are taken on a timely basis and it is moderately easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

We haven't heard about internships as of now. Some of our seniors opt for internships but those are taken by them through outer sources. The college would help you in assisting for internships but they wouldn't provide any in our program.

Placement Experience

4.5

The 3rd year students sit for placements. The placement cell helps the students for their interviews and polishes the personality. Many students opt for higher studies so the placement ratio is moderate. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, HP, LG come for placements. The highest package for our program last year was 8 LPA while the average package offered was 1.8 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

JNU is a private university and it costs around 132000 rupees annually which sums up to 396000 rupees in three years. The price is moderate. You can get scholarship according to your score in class 12th examination. Students securing more than 95% marks get 50% scholarship on their tuition fees. Toppers of each program are given scholarships. EWS scholarship is also available.

Campus Life

4.5

It feels like you are on a different home away from home. We have online classes so I don't have a clear idea about campus life but even during the online classes various events are organized to keep us lively. In the campus various events like sports week, photorazz, technorazz are organized. We get the facility of library which helps us a lot during this difficult time.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

We haven't visited the hostel as of now but I got to know that you can choose between single and double bed rooms. Normal facilities are provided in the hostel and the mess food is satisfactory according to our seniors.

Admission

Admission is done solely on merit basis. A final merit list is announced and the students get admission according to that. Our admission was done online due to this Corona virus pandemic. A variety of documents were sent online which they verified and my admission was done.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I enjoy writing content, The classes held on creative writing helped me understand the importance of language and trained me to write for different formats- including press releases, articles. scripts for radio shows, etc. I gained lot of practical writing knowledge while pursuing the course. Subjects like media laws and development communication were taught further during post-graduation diploma. Prior learning hepled me in retaining the concepts well. The 10 marks unit test, held twice a semester were held for 90 minutes, while semester exams (theory), held for 70 marks were completed in 3 hours. The practicals during semester exams were held for 30 marks, which included assignments or file submission and viva.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum overall offers a balanced mix of theoretical foundations and practical exposure, making it fairly relevant for students aiming to build strong academic knowledge while preparing for real-world scenarios. Below is a detailed breakdown based on various aspects of the curriculum plus Exams are generally conducted at regular intervals, which helps students stay consistent with their studies. The timing of assessments—spanning internal tests, mid-sems, and final exams—ensures that students are evaluated both continuously and comprehensively. However, sometimes exams may feel closely spaced, which can cause stress. A slightly more balanced schedule between consecutive assessments would be helpful

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.
