Course Curriculum Overview

4

The exams and their questions, I would rate the 8.5 out of 10 in term of difficulties because of twisted questions. In class their is always class test , assignments , and presentation which personaly I consider good to boost the confidence and presentation level. Teachers use both board and projector for teaching, it mostly depends on students how they want to learn. Companies like appollo come to tell us about them and how we can do better which is a good thing.

Internships Opportunities

3

I am a 2nd year student so I don't have much experience but yes companies do come for placements . Other than that college has its own hospital where students usually do 6 month internship which is paid around 5000. One can also search their own internship if they want.

Fees and Financial Aid

We pay semester wise i.e 53,270 in total which includes tuition fee is rs 43770 Library fee is rs 7500 Lab fee is rs 1000 Sports is rs 500 ERP is rs 500 ( ERP include registration number and e- sources provided by college) Other than that- Registration fee was 1000 Caution fee is 5000 Admission fee was 10000 After admission For uniform I paid 4800 For id card 250 Every sem examination fee is 3000 Hostal fee and college fee increases every year by 10% For international students fee structure is different Their is entrance exam for scholarship The topper in class gets 5000 alimony

Campus Life

3

This college includes three campus. The main campus has hospital in it with maximum course situated there and also boys hostel. SADTM is the campus where school of pharmaceutical in situated including other courses like hotel management, engineering, bca, biotechnology, media studies, etc . It also includes girls hostel. Silas is the third campus and smallest of all. It includes Nursing. The infrastructures are good but can be improved, construction in some parts are still going on for better facilities. In campus clubs are not very active. Students show less interest in them. In library their are subject books for learning and journals too.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel have room and prices according to the type of room. Their are 5 hostel till now. The one I am living in is three seater and non attached ac and washroom. Room is spacious with a table and almirah. Washroom are cleaned on daily basis as well as Rooms are cleaned on daily basis. Meals are good and tasty and their is a weekly menu which is followed. In locality their is only on girl's pg . For boys their many. Hostels are costly.

Admission

I personally applied for banaras hindu university but as I was a year dropper and from general category, their were no seats available for me. When I searched on Google jaipur national university showed a good response and one of friend was hear and he suggested me the college so I came hear. Their is a entrance exam but I got direct admission on the basis of my 12th examination. So I don't really have admission exam experience.

Faculty

4

First of all the girl and boy ratio on college is low. In my class there are total 52 students out of which boys are 47 in numbers and girls are only five which is very low. If we talk about teachers earlier it was low but now they are in good quantity but their is no fix ratio as teachers come and leave with in a year as according to them work environment is not really good. Their are total five exams conducted each semester - Two mid term ( theory based) , one mid term practical ( includes performance, synopsis, and how you performed the practical in written) At last one end term theory based paper and one practical exam. The class test are regular every week. Students get debarred if attendance is low. 75% attendance is compulsory. The practical and theory have 50-50 ratio and mid term marks are also included.

Night Life

3

Their is separate boys and girls gym. Boy's gyms are very active and equipped as compared to girl's gyms. Canteens are available from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. for hostelers . Boys are not allowed in SADTM campus after 5 p.m. as it has girls hostel in it. There is tea point which has all the fast foods and shakes. Hotel management also have their on cafeteria which includes baked products at students friendly price. Campus timing for girls is Monday to Saturday is from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and till 9:00 p.m. for boys. Hostal gate closes at 10:00 p.m. and open at 7:00 a.m. in morning. The locality is not really safe for girls at night specially.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are excellent for tech and other domains, however, in terms of my own degree, ie B.Pharmacy, significant direct placement opportunities in core pharmacy are not available. The college is lacking in this respect, even in terms of summer training and opportunities, Pharmacy students do not get much opportunity. This is prevelant even for pharm tech or other related fields. They have to look for other domains for placements (finance, data science, consulting etc). Students can also get a ppo from ps2 opportunities. Approx 70-80% people are placed, in terms of pharma, only 30-40% people are placed.
