Remarks

The admission process was held online due to corona. NL Dalmia doesn't have any quota for admission hence no quota was availed for the admission process. Admission criteria were General discussion followed by the personal interview. Minimum Marks: In graduation minimum of 60% are required in any discipline. After that based on entrance scores in CET, CAT, ATMA, MAT score admission was given. The overall process was very smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is divided into 6 trimesters for 2 years. I chose NL Dalmia because it was famous for finance in Mumbai. Student to faculty ratio approximately is 10:3. The qualification of faculties are as followed: Chartered Financial Analyst, M.Phil, Chartered Accountants and many better qualified such as Ph.D. The teaching methodology was very excellent wherein teachers taught concepts on the Zoom platform and tests were held online on the LMS system of the college. The difficulty level for the exam was Moderate level.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 10,20,000/- for 2 years wherein there was a fee hike in year 2 and even for juniors there was a hike in fees. Scholarships: There are no scholarships offered by the college neither any kind of financial aid. Job: The college has a placement cell that helps in getting placements and internships which is very efficient. The summer internship records 100% placement.

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest takes place in college however due to pandemic it was held online due to Covid-19 Pandemic. In the month of Oct-Nov-Dec-Jan mostly fests take place. Clubs: Finance Forum & delta magazine for finance, Ace club for marketing, and GMC (general management committee) for all specializations. Sports and Other Clubs such as Drama are there however there was no participation due to pandemic. The college has come up with a new club called Cultural Club.

Interview Experience

5

For the admission process, there was a group discussion followed by a personal interview. GD topics: "Financial inclusion during a pandemic". Other Criteria for admission: Entrance exam score, Score of 10th, 12th, and Graduation. Preparation for these rounds: Current financial news and general knowledge was to be well-read from Youtube and Newspapers and must have basic knowledge of finance such as ratios and tax rates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main specific reason I joined the college is for the marketing faculty. And marketing faculties are good here and the curriculum is up to date according to the IIM standards.Along with curriculum the college also give training to student for the interview, communication and nurture the students to make them stand out in this ever changing market. I would suggest the college to give more and more study materials for the exams as there is no extra study materials available in the library.
