Entrance Preview

I took JEE mains and from that score I got admission in IMS engineering college .It is a very good engineering college. This college support the new innovation and technology. The mechanical branch of this college is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is well balanced. The structure is designed in a very effective manner so as to provide adequate knowledge of the course effectively along with the research ideas. The labs are there for research purposes if any one wants to research. Professors also support research ideas.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, many companies come for recruitment. Companies offer good packages to the students.Lot of companies came for recruitment.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is best in this college.There are two sessional exams and one improvement (optional) and one pre university test. Enough time is provided for preparation. Adequate gap between exams are also given. Improvement exams are optional,as the name indicate it only for improving the marks.

Faculty

All the faculty are M.TECH and Ph.d from TOP IITS and well known Universities. The faculty is very active. They teach with full enthusiasm. They adopt all the necessary techniques of study for the benefit of students. Faculty also delivers motivational lectures periodically. Faculty also support the new ideas of students and help them to achieve their goal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since curriculum was given by AKTU itself, colleges only has the power to choose elective subjects- Few subjects were my fav and helped me alot in lot's of different scenerios - like EDC,Network Theory and ofc VLSI Design was my fav. For ECE students - university shd mandate Satellite communication and VLSI Technology a compulsory as it's a kind of core subjects and in every PSU as well as govt exams , questions from this subject always been asked by authorities. More faculties staff's are required.

"Disciplined environment for serious students"

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum provide better understanding of the the concept mentioned. Also it is very helpful for competitive exams like gate. The Full course is highly recommended for mechanical engineering. The only thing is that, they are skipping some important topics which was very helpful for students.

Placement Experience:

After 7th sem for b.tech student and 5th sem for diploma student is ready for campus placement. The company is visited in my collage is Mahindra, Infosis, Tata, Maruti Suzuki , TCS ,Gallent.Their are near about 80% students are placed. After getting the degree I want to become a successful Mechanical Engineer.

Good Faculty but not so good placement

Placement Experience:

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology has its own dedicated placement cell other than Central placement cell of University of Lucknow. Approximately 70% students at placed in every batch with a median package of 3.5 LPA, and Highest package of 12 LPA.

CONSIDERING IMSEC COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING?
