B.tech Civil at NCE , Chandi

I applied for Btech Civil in BIT Mesra, but didn't get admission due to its high cutoff in jee mains councelling, my score was 90, and it required 110 marks to qualify for BIT Mesra. I applied for Josaa councelling with my OBC caste certificate and EWS certificate which helped to lower the cutoff by 5-10 marks. Admission criteria for the college for Btech Civil is that you have to apply for jossa councelling after jee mains, on the basis of marks in jee mains, you will be admitted to the allotted college, Minimum marks required to get this college is 85 marks in jee mains, and the age limit is 24 years. The admission process is quite easy, after the allotment of a seat, you have to appear in college with all the required documents like the 12th mark sheet, jee the main scorecard, aadhar card, and after final payment, your admission will be confirmed.

I chose Btech civil because I have an interest in different architecture and I love to be a part of it, So I joined it. The faculty at NCE are very well experienced, humble, and friendly. The students are free to ask any questions to the teachers without any hesitation related to the topics, the student-teacher ratio is 50:1. All the faculty at Btech Civil department are highly qualified, all are either nitians or iitians, their teacher method in the regional language is very well. Exams are conducted three times a year, you have to study hard in the third exam at the end of the year, it contains some good questions from the topic.

The fees at the college in the Btech Civil section are very low as compared to other colleges in the state, with this infrastructure these course fees seem very reasonable. However, the fees hike at the campus is negligible. Students are able to get scholarships under the Bihar government scheme of Cheif minister post-matric scholarship, they can be offered 8,000 per year for three years.

There is no such fest celebrated in the college, general events take place during special days. The college has its own reputation library where students are free to read and borrow any books for a maximum a period of 3 months, it contains a large number of books on all subjects. The classroom is filled with bench - desks, smart board, light bulbs, fans, it's highly rated. there is a positive environment in the classroom. Sports like badminton, cricket, volleyball, kho kho, etc are played by different teams of the college, easy competitions are also given importance. There is no such group made by the college students, we all are connected by the college notice group through social media pages only.
