True Review for Echelon Institute of Technology, Faridabad

I didn't apply for any other colleges because of the scholarship offered to me by the college. No quota is availed as I am from the general category. Minimum 60% was required in the 12th standard for the b.tech stream. The admission process was very smooth and I didn't have to wait for further processes.

I completed my 12th standard from the nonmedical branch and hence I opted for Btech in computer science because of the scope and challenging nature of the course. Faculty: student ratio we can say it was about 45:1. The quality faculty was good as they were helpful in every situation. The quality of the faculty was good. Teachers were educated and had plenty of knowledge about the respective subjects. The teachings method of some of the old faculty we can say was traditional else most of them were good. There were 2 internal exams in each semester conducted after the first and fourth months respectively. The level of the first internal exam was a bit easier as it had a very little syllabus. The 2nd internal exam which was conducted just before the university final exams were on a bit tougher side, as it covered the full syllabus.

The normal fee structure for the btech stream we can say is about 95000 per year for general category students. If the student belongs from any reserved category then the fee structure differs. The scholarship is provided by the college if the student had cleared the scholarship exam conducted by the college. There is no such fees hike in the courriculum. The fees discussed at the time of the admission is the final amount which we have to pay for the rest of the course.I am not sure about the financial assistance provided by the college but i think if the problem is genuine than some action would be taken.

The college campus is huge. Everything provided in the college is huge. Playgrounds, classrooms, libraries, labs all are of huge size and can easily accommodate everybody for the time being. The library has all sorts of books which are required by the students. All course books are also provided by the college itself and it is included in the annual fees. Classrooms are big enough to conduct a class of 50 students very easily. Projectors are also available in the classes. Sports activities also take place in the college. We can play cricket, basketball, volleyball, football in our free time and all the required sports equipment is provided by the college. There is also an annual cultural fest organized by the college and many festival celebrations also take place like Diwali, holi celebration. There are also many social groups or socities in college as well like tech society and drama group and interested students join them.
