My View on Midnapore College (Autonomous)

Very Simple Process. After Application they published a merit list and select candidates for admission. Almost 4 th merit list will be out every year. You need very good marks in hs to get admitted to this college

There are too many faculty members. Everyone is so humble and well educated. I chose Microbiology cause I love this branch of Biology. They are two internal exams in a semester. The teachers make questions for the semester because it is an autonomous college. Every six months you have to give a semester exam. You have to obtain 40% to pass and have to attend the class 80 days out of 100 days to be eligible for the exam and they have extra marks for good attendance

There is almost every type of facilities are available. Internship opportunity is so good. Many many companies come to the campus and they take interviews of the students . Almost 70% of students get selected with a high salary. BCA , Computer Science students has a better future in this college

This is a general degree college so placement is not 100 % . But every year many company come to the college and take interviews of students almost 60-70% students get job with 3-4 lac per year sallery. College has a placement cell which is very active

There are available almost every type of government Scholarships like Swami Vivekananda Merit cum means, Minority, Students Credit Card Scheme, Kanyaharee , etc. Teachers also give scholarships to needy toppers. This is a general degree college. The fees Structure is not so large and also not so small. It's medium. You have to pay 7000-10000 per semester

There are so many festivals are arranged in the college. Almost every type of book you will get in the library. Central Library is just of the next level. Classrooms are clean and science department classrooms are available with ac.

I opted for a hostel. The food quality is so good. Three students in a room. The boy's hostel has only 61 seats. There is 22 room with the facilities of gym, television, games like carrom, etc. Hostel rooms are clean and it is very close to the college. You have to pay Rs 2200(approx) monthly for a hostel. Every year students apply for hostel and the authority select only some candidates who are from distance area. If your distance is 130 km from your hometown to college then you have a chance to get admitted to the hostel. The girl's hostel has 220 seats. There every facility is good. Even they have a generator. Girls' have to pay 1800 rs per month. And the admission process is the same as boys hostel. You need a minimum distance of 60km from your home to your college to get admission to the girls hostel
