Remarks
As it is well known that admission in Delhi university is based on merit of +2 marks. Although few courses have entrance based admission too, mine was solely based on merit. I was shortlisted in second list and I choose B.Sc. Physics Since I knew KMC is one of the best in DU for Physics. The overall Admission process was smooth as i was shortlisted in second list and I went to KMC and did all my paperwork submitted admission fee.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have been a science student and I like physics that's why I chose B.Sc. physics, The faculty of KMC was well educated and in good proportion to the students, the teaching method was also highly professional and very easy to understand. The exams are conducted timely and the question paper levels were ranging between easy, moderate to little tough but overall always from the syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
Through placement cells, various opportunities are available for students to look for jobs and placements. As far as internships are concerned on campus one can apply for various range of internships from native college as well as the other colleges in campus and the one offered by the universities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
The yearly fee range from 8000-12000. this includes all fee all fees, sometimes examination fees will be required too but that also is not going to exceed 2000 and few assistances are also available. Along with these, a student can apply for several state and central government scholarships if eligible.
Campus Life
The campus life is interesting. The KMC has an annual fest named Renaissance as well as several departmental fests too, the Physics department fest is known as Newtonian. The library is good, books are there and the required environment is too. Classrooms are great, in a good capacity, lighting, ventilation all things are good. The KMC sports ground is in great shape. almost every sport is available there, as far as extracurricular activities are concerned one can choose from dancing, singing, fine arts to debating. It's a good place for exploring hobbies and interests in other areas apart from study. There are several societies and groups where one can participate.
