Remarks

I applied for CHM only due to its location as it is near my home and I am preparing for my CA exams and couldn't afford to waste time travelling. I am from an open quota. the admission criteria for CHM is 50+ in 12th. the admission process was smooth and easy and the staff were supportive and kind.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Bcom just for a degree currently I am pursuing a career in CA. for every 80 students, there is one faculty who guides and inspires students. Qualifications of faculty are MBA and few are PhD. Term exams were held twice a year and was decently easy to score.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 4200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees don't hike much and are similar all year that is around 4.2k scholarships are provided for SC/ST students etc and there aren't many opportunities for jobs on campus with stipends for students very few get it.

Campus Life

many fests are held in CHM and by many, I mean MANY few are. Loksatta AKania in december. Chandi Utsav in January. annual day (inaugural function) in January etc books are journals are provided by the college for students. Amenities like blackboards and benches in decent condition are available. Sports like badminton carrom soccer etc are held on campus. Social groups like NSS and management groups are held for students.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

There are no campus placements offered in my college. The placements after completinh the course are great About 80% of students are placed. The highest package offered/expected for bcom course at this college is 5 6 lpa, About 90% of the students get internships easily with this course at the position of bank accountants etc.

Placement Experience:

De Shaw, and Bain Capital are among the biggest companies and lighter companies are also many. Visa and all are also there which are rare otherwise. For b.com though 30-40k is what is offered but I feel it's fair enough.

Mithibai College of Arts is Music to ears!!

Placement Experience:

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.

When I applied to college first I applied to college bk birla and Rd ruperkar but I can't get admission on that because my 12th marks is not sufficient for eligible on that college so I selected chm and other reason is the college is near from my house. Addmission process have easy steps but I rate zero that process because dur to worst process of faculty it take several for just doing few step and u have no place to sit u have to stand up whole time .
