Remarks

I decided to do MBA after graduation because; they have more job prospects right after the course. And in this regard REVA was the perfect choice because they had a very high placement rate. The admissions were based on the CAT score. Once shortlisted I attended an interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

The first year of the MBA at REVA was focused on building foundation in the subjects of economics, finance and management. They offered more than 4 branches of specializations, and I chose Marketing, because they have more placement opportunities. The faculties were very helpful. They were cooperative and supportive of all the academic matters.

Placement Experience

I after the course got placed during the campus recruitment. Almost 90% students including me got placed. Companies that visit REVA include, TCS, HCL and Infosys. They also offer good packages. The highest one was 16 lpa and the average was 6 lpa .

Fee Structure And Facilities

6 lakhs was the tuition fee for the course. This is slightly expensive. REVA did offer scholarship and financial aid. These were mainly based on marks. Need based scholarships were also offered. We also had an option for applying for loans.

Campus Life

The sports facility at REVA was really good. They motivated us to take up sports and provided us with the infrastructure. The library was also very good. There were books of all kind, and it helped me prepare for the exams. The cultural events are conducted once a year. And it is organized by the cultural committee.

Hostel Facilities

There are about 10 hostels inside the campus. There are also many PG facilities near the campus. The hostel rooms are shared by 2 students. The rooms are fully furnished and are well maintained. The food in the mess is also good. The mess is neat and hygienic, though the food can be quite boring after a while.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement for our batch started from 3rd sem. 1 company has visited that is LSEG. The company avg package of 5LPA. The results of the interview process is still not been announced. My plan is to get placed in a good company soon after completing my mba.

An Insider's Perspective on IIBS Bangalore

Placement Experience:

After 1st year students get eligible for placement. Cognizant,Capgemini,Axis Bank,IBM etc visit to campus and offer decnt amount of package dependin on job roles.
