Remarks
I decided to opt for Doon University to be part of a prestigious university. Since it was recognized by UGC and NAAC and had good reputation for offering management courses, it seemed to be the most attractive option for me. During the admissions, my performance in my bachelors as well as my CAT score was evaluated. The staffs at the admissions cell were helpful throughout the procedure.
Course Curriculum Overview
Having gained 2 years of work experience after my bachelors, I had decided to get an MBA. Doon University's MBA curriculum had stood out to me for various reasons. It included seminars, case studies, business games, company visits, etc. All the faculty under the management department were doctorate degree holders. Around 10 faculty members were there under the department of management.
Placement Experience
Our college had provided full support for placements and career counselling. They also had formed associations with different brands such as Amazon, Reliance Digital, LBF, etc. Minimum 60% of students from our college used to get placed each year. The packages offered were on an average of 3 lpa and it went as high as 8 lpa .
Fee Structure And Facilities
My tuition expense for each year was about 74,000. The fee had remained same for both the years. The expenses for books and other resources were separate. I was not able to avail any scholarship under merit.
Campus Life
Doon university had a lot of facilities to offer. The library was very unique and vast. It had collections from all the different departments that are at the college. We also had facilities for sports and other extra-curricular activities. Fests like BAZM were organized each year.
