MYy PG journey in IIT Tirupati

I Liked this institute progress. As they are providing many courses even it's newly developed. I found Environment and facilities were comfortable. Bad aspects are , I feel it should take care on placement preparation activities. But now it started taking care of it also. The site I followed is https://www.iittp.ac.in. Coming to admission process, we need to apply for counseling by paying 600. And in case selected, we need to submit the education certificates to them on referenced date.

Since I an interested in Statistics I choose this course. We are 10 students and faculty 8 are there and 2 guest faculty. Everyone qualified Phd and few did Dual degrees also. The exam pattern depends on the professor and credit of the particular course. I feel they were as tough we expected until unless the base is strong in the subject.

I didn't opt for internship. But mostly btech and mtech students are encouraged for internship. Toshiba and LnT usually offers internship in out institute. And every student are supposed to do a project as it is a course completion criteria. But the credit and aspect depends on the course they choose. In the project we need to give e seminars. One in the starting and 1 at end of the course. Depending on the performance the results will be declared.

Front the last but one semester students are supposed to sit foe the placements according to their interests. But there is CGPA criteria to be eligible for placement activities. Approximately 20 companies comes every year on different profiles.like factset, Amazon, tcs, Infosys, byjus, food ways e.t.c, But there will be always a restriction on the requirement of students to be selected. Amazon is the one who offers highest package, around 28 lakhs PA. I guess about 50 percent students get placed every time depending on the enrollment data. My plans after getting degree is to settle in good environment job culture.

For overall completion of course it would be around 2 lakhs with hostel facility and food and 1 lakh without hostel and food facilities. Toppers will receive scholarships on the basis of their Family financial status. I didn't get job from campus. But doing internship with stipend from outsourcing.

Life is so beautiful and enjoyable at Campus. Tirutsava fests will be organized every year in the month of February. That will be usually 3 days for celebration and competitions will be held fro 1 or 2 weeks before the fest. Few Tech competition also will be there in it. And for every art and activities we have separate us in campus.like saranga for music, aranya for adventures and so on.Every club is headed by students out of there interest.

There is only entrance exam and no other rounds. For that I have thoroughly prepared all my Mathematics and Statistics concepts in Graduation. We just need to pass it first , for qualification criteria. And then as per our rank and counseling criteria we should apply for it. Else , not guarantee for seat.
