Graduation

Everything is so good in our college. There is huge amount of space.Good infrastructure. But faculty is not at all good.They do not have subject knowledge and teaching proficiency. Lab infrastructure is not good.

During my period in college, course curriculum was not great. I studied computer science and engineering.Exams were conducted for each semester. There were total 7 semesters in 4 year time. There were internal and external exams.There were 2 Mid-term exams which accounts to internal for 30 marks. External exam was for 70 marks. Internals and externals include even laboratory exams.

Placements are not good enough. Students have to go various other colleges and attend the placements.There were no on campus placements.Atmost 2 companies come for hiring students in a year. Internships were not provided by our college

Good number of events will be conducted every year. There are 5 departments in the college.Each department celebrates their tech fest once in a year.For every tech fest, technological workshop will be organised, where proficient people with industrial experience teach the students and host the workshop for 3 days. College wide events like College Day, Sports Day will be celebrated.

Fee structure is feasible.As it is a government college,they used to charge Rs.10000 per year for every Student and Rs. 2500 as additional charges. For students staying in hostel, they have to pay monthly mess bills and room rents. Mess bills vary from month to month depending on the grocery expenses of that month. At most Rs.2500 will be monthly hostel and room rent other than tutorial fee

Scholarship is provided by the government for attending college based on student's economic background and Caste.Loan facility is there but none of the students apply for it as fee is not very high. Based on reservation system, minorities get monthly mess bills as scholarship from government.

There are laboratories with good equipment.But latest equipment is not included in labs. Sports is given the highest priority in our college. Students appear for national level and state level sports competitions.

Hostel is really a very good place to live for a student at low expense and with good facilities. Spacious rooms, 24*7 water supply, drinking water, WIFI, Gym, food are all the aminities provided. There is greenary everywhere. Playgrounds and open area to spend time and walk. Wide range of trees and open place inside the hostel is added advantage.

Alumni network and senior students contacts are very important for every student in the college. Seniors are very helpful. Most of the students get in to jobs by using their alumni network. Seniors help students by giving tech talks to students based on their experience outside the college about industries, job opportunities, career and so on.

I got admitted to this college through state level entrance exam, that is EAMCET in Andhra Pradesh. I attended counselling conducted by Andhra Pradesh Government. Based on my EAMCET Rank, I selected few colleges and finally got admission in this college

Faculty were not that proficient. Only 2% of the faculty were good at subjects and are fit for engineering teachers. Remaining are not good at subject knowledge as well as teaching PROFICIENCY.I feel that faculty recruitment is not done fairly.There were no strict examinations or interviews for faculty.
