JNTUA CEA admissions are based on marks obtained in the relevant entrance examination. Admission to B.Tech Programmes is based on AP EAMCET, and for B.Tech Lateral Programmes is based on AP ECET counselling.

Library: The college library has a collection of 59,537 volumes covering 14,599 titles, including 2,731 Ph.D. theses and 12,538 reference books, with 4,118 donated books. The library also has 40 national and international printed journals, maintains 358 back volumes of journals, offers access to 15 magazines, 7 e-journal packages, and 9 daily newspapers, providing academic resources.
Auditorium: The Auditorium of JNTUA CEA has a seating capacity of 1,100 with a 99-ton air cooling system. Also, the features are 16 rooms, a dining hall, a kitchen, a green dressing room, and carpets. The auditorium has a projector, an advanced audio system, and a large screen for hosting many events and activities.

Year fee of B.Tech.and hostel fee
The first year fee of JNTUA College of Engineering, Anantpur B.Tech. is INR Twenty five thousand. The second, third and fourth year fees of the course are the same INR Twenty one thousand. However, the hostel fee is not yet released in online mode.
The placement oppurtunities of JNTUA College of Engineering are decent but not 100 percentage. The average placement percentage of JNTUA College of Engineering remains 80%.
