JNTUA College of Engineering, Ananthapuramu started the journey at Guindy campus, Madras in the year 1946. The institute aims at encouraging young minds towards academic perfection. The establishment of the college was sighted at rendering basic technical education. Admission to Undergraduate Programmes is allotted on the basis of merit in AP-EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Medical Entrance Test).
For admission in postgraduate Management and Computer Applications Discipline, a candidate must qualify the APICET (Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test).
For 2 Year M. Tech., admission is based on GATE / AP PGECET Exam and counseling conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.

Infrastructure wise our college is somewhat better.
teaching methods are good and fests also conducted every month.
College ground is so big but need some improvements.

Yes at first I applied on EAMCET for sonmany colleges but i got seat in some tier 3 college,after that I again selected my present studying college because it is better than the previous College I got selected.

I like Computer science department in our college.it is very elaborate and different infrastructure.
I like our college canteen and it was good .
Our college Auditorium i like the most as it feels like an university but actually it is an university.

Dislikes

Equipments in our laboratories especially in our department.
Final dislike this is garbage in our college which is not removed.
I dislike things in our college is not much more.

The first year fee of JNTUA College of Engineering, Anantpur B.Tech. is INR Twenty five thousand. The second, third and fourth year fees of the course are the same INR Twenty one thousand. However, the hostel fee is not yet released in online mode.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantpur, Andhra Pradesh has Management Quota Seats available for the students. But taking admission through Management Quota will increase the fees higher for the course.
