Remarks

Preparation of GATE during engineering degree take a hell lot of effort. so gear yourself if you are heading that way. Every year this branch gives 1-5 good GATE Scorers and seniors made their way to NTPC,BHEL,POWER GRID . Good luck.

Placement Experience

Electrical Engineering is the core branch for those who want to pursue technical jobs in PSUs or other govt. Institutions. Placements are decents in my batch firms that came for recruitment includes Mahindra Rise ( Came this year only , not sure for subsequent years), MAN Trucks Pithampur Plant , Jindal Steel , Sterlite technologies, Asian Paints, Wells Fargo, other IT bulk recruiters that covered almost all the batchmates.

College Events

College events are full of politics. Sports included. Situated very near to TI MALL a big plus point.

Faculty

Senior faculties are really good at knowledge new faculty sucks and then there is intermediate Mandloi Sir ( great ).

LIFE IN MITS-DU

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

A campus of learning, friendship and future prospects

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

I have applied to many nits and I got seat in NIT bhopal in electronics and communication branch. But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed.
