Bennett University - Detailed review

I applied for Bennett University Greater Noida, GL bajaj and many more colleges affiliated with AKTU. But I chose Bennett because I needed a college with more International opportunities. I didn't avail any quota for admission but the scholarship program in Bennett is very good. You can avail scholarships based on your 10th, 12th, JEE or SAT scores. The best of them will decide your scholarship. Eligibility criteria are very simple: You should have passed the 12th standard with a minimum of 50% marks with Physics and Maths compulsory. The admission process was smooth. You just have to register online by paying 2000 Rs for the form and then they will contact you for further processes.

I chose Computer Science Engineering because I was doing Java since class 8th and wanted to know more about programming. Also, I have a great interest in Artificial Intelligence which I chose as my specialisation. Faculty to student ratio is very good i.e. 1:30 and every student is appointed with a mentor so that he/she can ask any doubts related to academics and non academics. Most of the faculties are from IITs NITs IIITs and are always willing to help students. Due to the pandemic, we are having online classes and Bennett have all the necessary arrangements for that. All the classes are managed at Microsoft Teams and Outlook. timely updates about our classes on Outlook and classes get updated on Teams calendar. Teachers are well aware of all the technology and manage online classes very well. We are provided with lots of E-books on the Bennett e-library platform which is easy to use. There are many books on all subjects which are very easily accessible.

Internship opportunities at Bennett university are great. If you have a skill in a particular field, you can even get an internship in your 1st semester. As Bennett university has collaborations with many foreign universities, you can also get a chance to go to a different country which provides exposure. If a student is ready to put effort and gain experience, he/she will get internships in this university.

The placement ratio of the university is very good. All the big companies and tech giants like Microsoft, Google, Dell, Adobe, etc. came for placement this year. Almost everyone from college got the placement and the average placement this year was 8.5 lakh per annum. The highest package of this university so far has been 44 lakh per annum from Microsoft. Almost 100 percent of students got placed. Students can feel safe about their future at Bennett university if they study hard as the opportunities are fabulous here.

Fees for Btech Computer Science Engineering (any specialisation) is Rs.3,60,000 per annum. There are a lot of Scholarships available and are provided on the basis of 10th, 12th, JEE mains, SAT exams. Best of these exams decide scholarships. To continue the Scholarship, you must attain 8.0+ CGPA in every final term examination. If you fail to cross this criteria, you have to pay full fees according to your program from the time you didn't cleared it. There are lot of research facilities available at the campus which provide a good stipend. Students can do internships from college easily. University has also partnered with different banks for Education loans which makes this process easier.

Life at the campus is very good. Students are given exposure in every possible field. The college organises different debates, competitions, fests, etc. The annual fest of Bennett university is called Euphoria. The library in the university is its best part. Be it offline or online, students do not get any difficulty in accessing the books. University has equipped with all the books a student need for his/her study. Books can also be accessed through their app. There are lots of extracurricular activities in the university which provides exposure to the student. All sports facilities are available on the campus for eg. Cricket, Football, Squash, Swimming pool, Volleyball, Badminton and many more. There are clubs for each department such as Photography club, CS club, Research Club, fashion club, etc.
