Remarks

I have not applied for any other college because I was looking college near by to home and i was lucky that i get admission in this college in first counselling only. To get admission in B.com there is minimum 45% marks required in 12th class but college has limited seat so highest number scorer get first admission in college. Admission process was smooth, all counselor were very helpful.

I have an interest in the account so i applied for CA course also but i did not get selected so i decided to study B.com. College has good faculty members because they offer similer course to B.com like BBA. I think on every 15 students there are one faculty members in FIMT. Faculty are well qualifed and most of teachers are P.hd or M.phil holder in their subject. Most of faculty members has 10-15 year of teaching experience.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

B.com is not a professional course so fees were quite reasonable as compared to the professional course. There were 55000 rupees per year fees for my course where there was an option to pay fees in semester wise. There is no scholarship and financial assistance provided by the college. There is no job on campus with a stipend.

Campus Life

The college has many fest every year. All department of has their own groups and clubs. All groups and clubs are get chance to get perform together at time of annual fest which is celebrated in month of march every year. Library has good amount of books and ample space for seating. All classroom are design with latest technology. College has medical room also which provide medical facility. On every floor of building there is washroom and water facility avilable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I Gave CUET, CLAT, and aimed for DU colleges but couldn't get past it. Admissions were already done in the IPU but spot rounds got me cleared for the college. Couldn't make it to DU colleges, firstly because of high competition resulting in high cutoffs and secondly because of the Quota system which was only meant to be there for 10-15 years I think but now seems permanent. I gave jee mains and cuet.. so by cuet I got admission in du in a b.sc course but I also filled the ipu form...then because of my uncle said b.tech is much better than b.sc but I didn't get seat in any of ipu because of my rank..my rank was around 7 lakh I go for offline counselling of ggsipu in that I got selected in FIMT for b.tech CSE ...
