IGNOU life

I have only applied for ignou because I want to do my master's in ignou itself. I have availed for SC quota I have given my caste certificate while filling the form. The admission process in ignou is quite easy like I don't have to face many problems while getting admission in IGNOU. The minimum marks for getting admission in ignou is 45% marks and there was no counselling session. Everything was good. I haven't face any kind of problem.

The course curriculum is nice and good. I have chosen this course just because to gain and increase or to learn more. As ignou is an open university the student ratio is quite good and if we talk about the faculty it's nice and polite. Faculty members are humble and will teach you nicely. The teaching quality is easy and they all have a helping nature. They treat every student equally. The semester exams are not too hard and a student who studies an average can pass easily here. Exams are not that hard. If you study well you can do it easily.

I don't have much idea about the internship opportunities available in IGNOU because I'm new to IGNOU. Also, the companies usually don't come to campus for internship purposes. If any internship will come then it can be easily checked from the website itself. The placement department furnishes all information about the opportunity available either for unpaid or paid internships.

Students of the final year become eligible for Placement and also students are informed by the university website. I heard many companies visited in our college i.e IGNOU. Reputed companies like KPMG, genpec, axis, etc. The percentage of students getting placement is 40%. I'm new to IGNOU so I don't have that much knowledge about the package. My plan after getting my master's degree is to do a job.

The fee structure is affordable and one can easily enroll here and take admission. The fee is the biggest factor in ignou just because it's affordable. The opportunity of scholarship is good and IGNOU also provides financial assistance to their students so that they can easily pursue their studies without any worry. The learners who belong to SC/ST/OBC/Minority are eligible for Government of India scholarship.

As you know Ignou is an open learning university students cannot enjoy their campus life because it's not a regular college where students can easily go to college on a regular basis. The infrastructure of ignou is very good and nice. Greenery is everywhere. The campus is huge and good the buildings are wifi enabled but it doesn't work and a library facility is also available in the ignou. A medical facility is also available. Sports opportunity is also there and has proper equipment but there is no trainer or coach. Students can go to college only on Saturday and Sunday. There is no annual fest or tech fest organized by IGNOU nor there are any social groups, clubs, or websites for students run by students.
