NMIMS Indore Review

Applied for NMIMS Indore and got in, general quota. I took the entrance test (NPAT) and got the campus I put in as my first preference according to my NPAT rank. During my admission, Mathematics in 12th was compulsory to enroll for NPAT.

I chose BBA because I wanted to get into marketing (the specialization I did in my final year). The faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:50. All the professors are well educated and most of them are doctorate holders. The teaching methods are up to date, using smart boards and smart TVs. The exams were held twice a semester, mid sem and end sem, mid seems were easier than end seems but the difficulty level was a bit on the higher side for both.

Companies hired interns in the field of maketing, finance and HR. the stipend varied from company to company. People worked in sales, digital marketing, insurance sectors. By the end of our internship period, we had to present our work through ppts to a panel of judges.

There is a compulsory 2 month summer internship during the 2nd year, for which the college placement committee calls various companies for campus recruitment. Companies like Zomato, Deloitte, HDFC, and many more have hired freshers as well as interns. The average package is around 4-5 LPA. 60-70% of students have been placed.

The annual fees were around 2,50,000 excluding food and cost of living. Hostel fees was 2,00,000-2,50,000 per year. There is bus facility which is also available for the hostel as well as local students. There are other amenities on campus like cricket/football ground, badminton court, games room, music room, auditorium, library, girls, and boys common room.

The annual college fest is NMotsav which is held around March. All kinds of books related to the courses are available in the library which is equipped with PCs as well. The whole campus is centrally air-conditioned, the classrooms are huge. There are amenities like sports room which has snooker/billiards, carrom, table tennis, badminton courts, football/cricket ground, there is also a music room with all different kinds of musical instruments and different clubs run by students organize various activities all year.
