Remarks

The admission procedure for DTC is very simple, one can get admission through JEE Mains marks and IPU-CET. I was enrolled on the basis of IPU-CET. There are 5 phases of the IPU counseling session, and any course in DTC is available in the fifth round as well. If you have good marks in 12th grade, you can directly approach college administration with your CET results and get admission to your desired branch. I paid 40k in counseling and paid the rest of the amount after admission to college. Uniform fees are not included in college fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

ECE is a good field for those who love to work with software and hardware at the same time. that is why I choose ECE. Another reason for ECE is: you can switch between CS and ECE placement drives if you gain any experience in coding. Talking about Student Ration in the ECE department is 25:45 (Girl: Boys). The faculty in DTC is great!! Their teaching methods are awesome. One won't be facing any issue with their course syllabus. The faculty is always available to help you! There is one mid-term written exam that happens after 4-6 weeks of starting a semester, which is of 20 marks. 5 marks of attendance. Then there is an external viva exam of 60 marks, an internal viva exam of 40 marks and then there is the major semester written exam of 75 marks.

Internships Opportunities

5

The college has provided free training under CISCO. But you're allowed to join any other internship program of your desired choice, you just have to inform your HOD or class coordinator and have to ask for a NOC from them. Also, you can start working on your projects from the second year of your course. your HOD will help you throughout. College seniors are also resourceful, they can guide you with your projects and other stuff like technical clubs and syllabus as well.

Placement Experience

5

College Placement is for the final year students:7sem and 8sem students. Various companies visit the college every year, such as Amazon, Wipro, Byjus, Zomato, Oh Notations, TCS, and many more. 80% of students are placed every year but this % changes year-to-year. Placements are easy though DTC with a good package. One of my seniors got a CTC of 15L.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees hiked unexpectedly last year, but all hikes are under the university. So college has no say in fee hikes, all notices come from University itself. In terms of financial assistance, the college provides you a benefit to part-pay the fees in small installments. The college has a number of placement drives: one can easily be placed if he/she has a developed good technical background during their college time. Freshers are offered a stipend of 40k-1L per month in various organizations that come for on-campus placements.

Campus Life

5

All fests are held once a year. The name of the annual fest is VIKIRAN. and Technical fests are given names on the time of being held. All bookings for the fest are easily available. The College library has all the books that are course-necessary. Daily Newspapers and Novels are also available for the students. Library timing is 10:00-18:00. All classrooms are occupied with two ACs and two ceiling fans with four wall fans. Desks are regularly cleaned and classrooms are cleaned after campus hours. Sports life is also good in college. Mainly college has two campuses: one for B.Tech/B.Arch/BCA/MBA/B.A/HM and the other one for LLB. There are several clubs that are run by the students for the students, one such is the literature club: AWAZ.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel rooms are okay-okay. but timings for girls and boys are very different. Boys are allowed to enter the campus before 8 PM. but girls are not allowed to leave the college campus after 6. Roaming inside the campus is also restricted after 9:30. but for boys, they are allowed to roam around till 12 midnight, Meal Quality is fine but not considerable. The menu is decided by the students but has to be approved by the wardens, so in short, the warden has the power to decide the menu. Morning breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and then dinner is provided. Rooms are available in the college hostels even in the middle of the semester. So, no need to worry about rooms availability.

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
