Remarks

I have not applied to any other colleges. I am from the general category only so I did not avail any quota for admission. To get admission to Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal you have to score more than 500 marks in your NIMCET examination which is on the central level in which 11 NITs take part and you get the NIT based on your NIMCET rank. After the NIMCET result got declared you have to fill the college choice filling the form and then there are three counseling rounds and you can apply for upgradation for college in the second counseling round or you can lock your college as per your choice. After locking in your college you will get a call from your chosen or allotted institute for confirmation and sending all the documents related to the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have chosen Master in Computer Application (MCA) as I was always interested in learning about new technology and always get fascinated with computers. As I love playing video games very much so that's the main reason for my fascination with computers and technology stuff. Now talking about faculty, the faculty is very much qualified and explained every topic very interestingly and easily. The faculty-student ratio is 1:8. Term exams are held timely within 1-2 months as they are categorized as mini tests, mid-term and end term exams. Exams are not that difficult to pass if you have your concepts clear.

Internships Opportunities

4

Various big companies like TCS, Microsoft, American Express, Deutch bank, and many more offer internships, as well as placement offers and some, even provide stipends with internships ranging from 10 thousand to 50 thousand based on the company. Students can apply for a summer internship which usually is for two months and can make various projects to mention in their resume which will prove beneficial during placements.

Placement Experience

4

From the fifth semester students become eligible for campus placements and various big companies like Microsoft, American express, deutch bank, tcs, and many more companies come for placement opportunities and made various offers ranging from six lakhs per annum to twenty to thirty lakhs per annum based on one's skills and talent. Almost most of the students get placed on-campus only and with a good package also. I am looking forward to campus placements only right now and I am confident enough that I will get grab a placement in some big company with a nice package.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fees hike policy as per my knowledge for our course and the cost of the study is not that much, you can easily apply for a scholar loan for education. For scholarship, you can refer to National Scholarship Portal (NSP), if you are eligible for a scholarship you can apply for the same.

Campus Life

4

The campus is very big and spacious. There are many activities, sports which can be performed on the campus. The library is huge and contains lots of books on every subject and genre. Classrooms are also very well furnished and nice with ducting facilities. There is an annual fest that takes place every year in which various activities and competitions like dance, music, and various gaming competitions take place. There are various social groups in our college based on different interests of students like coding, music, dance, literature, and many more which are run by students.

MCA placements start from 3rd semester. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra visit. Highest package around 7lpa, average is 3-3.5lpa. About 60-70% students get placed. Jobs are mostly in IT, Testing and Support. I plan to work in software and appear in tech exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a tech geek I like to work on computer or designing programs . The course was a ladder for my dreams but I come from a middle family and after searching a while I found that it's more suitable for me to study in a government college due to financial condition. They taught us well what was in our syllabus, I think if there were smart classes that should add a plus point in the college after all a course about computer applications and while teaching computers are not included sounds bad . Exams and tests were conducted time to time and as the course ascends exams get quite difficult.
