Life inside Acropolis

There is no Specific curriculum influenced me to choose the course, i just Had my bca degree and i wanter to get Enrolled in an MCA specialised in a computer science course that's it. The curriculum is good they are not only preparing the students for technical rounds but also focusing on the interview skills of the students, on a regular basis, with Career Development Cell Classes evey 2 days in a Week . I just want to be taught in a more practical way , i wish I could explore how a real IT company works. The exams are always right ahead one after another, you would have to be prepared for everything including your on Skills Enhancement, you would have to be caught up with teachers daily studies. And there are project as well for students to loon on to .

Right now i am in semester 1 so i dont have any idea about the INTERNSHIP, but I just know that from the 3rd sem companies would be there for placement and in the 2nd there might be companies coming for students to offer INTERNSHIP.

Write now i am in first semester, but from the 3rd sem there would be companies coming for us too . In betch session 2024 students of CS are getting placed with package of 12 LPA , the average package of College is 3.2 Lakh , and most of the students of MCA from previous batch got 3-4 LPA package. Almost 30-40 % students are getting placed . Most likely i will be getting a package from the college. Companies like StartApps , TCS , Consultad , often come .

I belong to the General category according to that i am going to mention the fee details below . And there is no financial aid for Students based on merit score , also the bus fee is charged to everyone whether you choose bus or not except for those who live in 1 km from the college , and there is going to be Uniform fees also but not included in the semester fee 4000rs you would be paying for two pairs of Uniform including 2 shirts and 2 pants with a blazer and it is necessary. For the MCA course its semester wise fee payment system , and you could also go with more than 2 installment , they will consider it . The fee i paid as a general categorist is and after having 81.4 percentage in my graduation and after clearing the cutoff is . Admission fee : 500 Rs Bus Fee : 7500 Rs Caution Fee : 1500 Rs E. Cell Fee : 1000 Rs Miscellaneous Fee : 3750 Rs Tuition Fee : 250 Rs These Details are based on My Fee Receipt Info . Yes Scholarships are also available for Sc/St and OBC . There are Two Semesters Every Year of MCA . So there are Total of 4 Semester .

So there are Festival for different departments, but there are two major festivals One is for all the College Students calles "AADAR" and one for only MBA students . Aadar is a very big event of this college happens Once a year . There are so may interesting things , ex food stalls, dj ,dance shows , and other fun activities. There are a lot of Libraries for different departments, but we can't issue a book from the library of any different department , in MCA library no of Books of MATHS is not enough for all the students . And there are no Novels and Self Improvement Books other than studies in the library. The College is Active for Sports specially for girls, there is a basket ball court but right now it is In a restoration phase . There are volleyball courts . There are Football and Cricket Facilities. There are so many Student clubs , ex . Technical, social , festive clubs in Acropolis, they organise Workshops and compitions on a regular basis , the last compition was ROBO race that is witnessed. But students does not have time to interact with the students of other departments.

I choose the same college and i got it There has been recession for 2 years now , i chose this college because when the other colleges were having their students places during recession there was this college's students getting placed . Student should have a minimum of 70-75 % marks in their graduation. You are Only eligible to sit in exams if your attendance is greate than 75% . You will have to fill the MpDte Form for the Cutoff to match. Min 72 % is the cutoff this year was . The admission was very quick .

Faculty are well experienced to teach MCA students so there are like 78 students in total and we are having five subject each handled by a different faculty. Geetha Santosh Mam also our HOD , she teaches us Operating System , she is very well experienced and have been in the industry for a very long time , infact she was in India's first MCA batch , i like how she explains the concepts in the old way it used to be . I can't mention a faculty name here , but there is a new faculty that i don't like , i can't say if it's her attitude but i don't like the way she teaches . So there are two MST in one semester and 1 End Semester Exam .

No i did not face any group discussion or interview during the admission , but aleast i got to talk to the HOD From Faculty of Computer Applications. Where she told me about the dates of starting the sem .

I have already told you about the library , now there is no gym, but there is a very large and crowded canteen , which serves eveything you can think of like chinese , indian, beverages and a lot more . There is one more cafe in the college known as "Sip n dip " where you can enjoy your burger sandwich and other Junk . Don't have any idea about hostels , even i think there is no hostel facility. No students can get out of the college , before the timing , and inside the college there is just a canteen , which is always crowded like bugs.
