MANIT Bhopal- a place to secure and shape your future

The admission to top NIT's for the MCA programme is based on the student's performance in NIMCET exam. My dream was of pursuing my master's from NIT so I prepared for NIMCET-2020 along with my ongoing final year of graduation. As I come under the general category, I didn't avail any quota for admission into NIT. The admission to the MCA programme is based on NIMCET ranking in the respective year. There is no set age criteria for taking NIMCET. The level of questions in the NIMCET examination is mostly moderate. So if you getting under 700 rank and so you can easily get into NIT for the MCA programme . However, the allotment is based on the choice filling process by the applicant which is followed 3 rounds of allotment in which the student can either lock the allotted college in that round or wait for the next round of counseling. After the 3rd round, the student is given the choice of whether he wants to lock the college or leave the counseling. The students need to submit the required documents in college.

I have my bachelor's in the same field so that's why I choose to continue my master's in Computer Applications. Moreover, completing a master's from a reputed college will surely boost my career opportunities. The Faculty: The student is around 1:8. Teachers are really cooperative and helpful. All the professors in MANIT Bhopal are highly qualified and have more than 8-10 years of experience in the field of education and technology. The teaching method is really cooperative. I personally have explored and learned a lot from the teachers beyond just the curriculum which is continuously helping me in my career. There are in all 6 Semesters in the MCA programme of which each year is divided into 2 semesters. Each Semester consists of 6 theory and 2 practical examinations. We have an evaluation in three phases in each semester: Mini Test, Mid Semester Exams, and End Semester Exams which occur every 2 months of time span.

Mainly companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon, Goldsman Sachs, Debstuche Bank, Wipro offer internships and placments at MANIT, Bhopal. At an average, the students are offered internships worth 90,000 and an average placement offer from MANIT, Bhopal is around 17 LPA.

Students are eligible for internships in the penultimate year while the campus placments are for the final year students. Every year around 200+ companies visit the college including the companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Google, Goldsman Sachs, L &T and offers a job to a handful of students. The Average package offered is 17 LPA while the highest is 46LPA from Microsoft. Almost 90% students every year are placed while the others left either opt to pursue their higher studies or start with their own startup.

Each Semester's fee is around Rs.42,048 of Academic fees and around 20,000 of Hostel fees. For the Scholarships, please refer to the NSP portal. I didn't take any financial assistance for my education at NIT.

Youthfest is the annual fest of MANIT, Bhopal which occurs mostly in the month of October. The campus has a huge library consisting of around 50,000+ books of fiction, non-fiction, technology, and current affairs. All the classrooms are fully ventilated and clean giving a healthy environment for the students to focus on their personal growth. The campus has a newly constructed sports building creating a platform for many sports. The campus also provides facilities for games like Athletics, Basketball, and Football. The college also provides a platform for students in the field of music, art, and drama through various events and activities taking place in college. The college has around 10+ social clubs functioning of which each one is dedicated to a particular genre like Roobaroo Club for the Poets, Musicians, and artists, Anek Club for helping students asking for financial help, and so on. The college has many websites of which some are official and some are run by students.
