Remarks

Good campus. Cool Hostel. Every facility is up to the mark. Teachers are helpful. College provides good security thought the day as well as in night.

Entrance Preview

I gave CET exam which is held after the 12th exams. I opted this college as it was well knows for environment suitable for studies and good teaching staff.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is up to the mark. The faculty of the college is also very helpflu brillent and with good teaching skills.

Placement Experience

Around 70 % of the students from IT and Computers were placed in well known IT companies. Companies like Accenture,Congnizent and Capgemeni came in our college offering a CTC of 2.5 to 3 lac.

College Events

A combination of all the events technical,cultural etc are held together in mid march every year. All the students are involved in the events. This goes on for 12-13 days together. All tthe events are massive compared to all other colleges in Pune.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is moderate as compared to other colleges. College fees aprox 1 lac per year.

Gender ratio 1:1.Everything is pretty cool in this case. All religion students are there in the college.

Hostel Facilities

Everything regarding Hostel and mess are above average. Seats are limited but many PG's are available nearby the college campus. Hostel fees 55K per year including mess, wifi,24 hrs water facilities and spacious rooms.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Review of SITS, Narhe.

1) As I wasn't scored good enough in JEE so I couldn't get admission top engineering collges that time. Sinhgad Institute was good option for me because it's renowned institute in Pune and also has good placement record compared to other collges like JSPM, AISSMS etc. 2) Yes I got rejected from many institutes such as VIT, PICT, PCCOE due to low scores in entrance. 3) Admission procedure for college is according to guidelines given by State common entrance test cell.
