Good college,spacious campus,good crowd , very good placements , decent teachers and staff, overall satisfied

applied for DJ sanghvi,VJTI ,St francis institute of technology(SFIT), and a few more, but only got selected in SFIT admission criteria at my time were JEE and 12th boards combined counseling process was at the Sardar Patel institute of technology where the seats were being filled and the result was updated,we were made to sit in a classroom and the procedure was really simple and fun

i chose BE in computer engineering because of the massive job market and my interest in the subject and future opportunities faculty was decent don't expect anyone to spoon feed you like you had upto 12th std intuitions and classes, here you got to study everything on your own and you are accountable for your results faculty were well qualified and well taught, no real complaints term exams were proper and not difficult in fact they will help you to study frequently and show you how much u have studied

i did not enroll for any internships nor any projects because i was not ready and also did not have interest at the time with all the college studies i felt it was too much but thats just me because i wasted a lot of time in other activites but i would encourage students to take up internships as it will expose you to industry vs what the college is teacing and you will fasten up your skills

the tpo has given plenty opportunities for the students every year and tthis year it was way more than any year companies like tcs,wipro,cap gemini, infosys, media dot net and many more startups average package was 5 to 7 lac and highest was 17 lac this year

fee for my college was 1 lac per annum and the training and placement officer gave plenty job opportunities this year if you are a tfws or a caste then you are eligible for less fees you have to buy books/stationery/college journals and sheets on your own tho

2 fests every year they are ok i would say books and journals are there in the library if your are early bird else many will issue it classrooms are good,no acs but the ventilation is good and greenery all around so not an issue really sports like badminton football cricket are played by many here
