Remarks

I have applied for many collages but due to not such a rank which gives me that collage I didn't get them. I am a general category student.it has some restrictions that you can give jee main only 3 times.the whole admission process was basically conducted on jossa.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was very interested to be in electronics field so I choose this field faculty student ratio is also good .most of the professors have done PhD and have a huge experience .their teaching style is also very good.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 225000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies provide internship from 2nd year here in this collage .if any one is interested they can get a good internship .the placement cell of the collage is very active . The feedback from student is very good about their internship.

My collage placement is far better than many other well known nits . Here one can get placement in core branches also .from 6th or 7th semester one can get placement. Placement percentage in my branch is 96 % .highest package in my branch is 40 lac and avg placement of top 50 % students is 14 lac . Here ech branch gives a good avg placement also in lower branches.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students get scholarship on their economical status . It is central government funded institute so studying here is not so expensive .students whose family income is less than 1 lac per year gets a remission of the full amount of tuition fee.

Campus Life

There are many fests which are organized every year such as culfest , ojass techies and many other .my collage has a huge library having about all types of books which one wants .library is very beautiful. Sports facilities in this collage is also very good about all types of games are here and field and court for each game is also available .

Hostel Facilities

Room is very well decorated and each room has a separate balcony also.ech student from 2nd year gets single room .meal and menu of my collage is also good in comparison to others.hostel is a mega hostel build some year ago and very beautiful.anyone can get a pg in adityapur or in jamshedpur also.

Hostel Fee: INR 55000 per year

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

According to my perspective or point of view students initiate preparing for placement cells in 3rd year ( 5th semester). The highest package of our college is 14 LPA And average package is 3.4 LPA. Approx 72 %students got placed in different different companies like tcs, wipro, accenture etc.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
