Naash's Review On Sri Krishna College Of Engineering And Technology - [SKCET], Coimbatore

Easy as this college was enlisted in tnea. I selected the college and opted for admission, paid the fees. I was also granted the concession for the 1st graduate category. Criteria were to have a cut off above 175 and also I was in obc category.

I choose to become an IT engineer. The faculty ratio was about 20:1 may be. All the faculty have either done their pg or PhD. The teaching was good. The exam was placed every month once a module is done and it was easier to answer and get passed

Many internships were given based on merit and also girls get exclusive opportunities in Amazon and other companies. I did not opt for any internship programs as I got other plans after graduation but people are getting internships even from 5th sem onwards.

From the 6th semester onwards people were given opportunities to attend placements. There are many companies like Amazon and Accenture. And also many other big names visit the campus to hire students. I was told that Amazon offers 18LPA which was one of the highest packages offered here. Almost everyone gets placer and others opt for higher studies.

The fees structure was on the higher side as it was a private college but the opportunities are vast. Many get internships and the companies visit the campus yearly to recruit a mass of students. I didn't opt for any scholarships.

Not many fests take place. The library was one of the best features on the campus. Classrooms got a smartboard and of course got fans and lights. Sports are also encouraged. Students run many groups like Photography and etc.

The rooms got four cots and individual cupboards for each cot. The meal was not the speciality of this hostel as it was a vegetarian hostel mess not very diverse foods are provided. Hostels can opt in during the admission process. There are many rooms and pgs available around the campus
