The best college to buildup career in life

I am the first batch student in JIT davanagere. I opted for electrical and electronics engineering. I heard about Bangalore JIT college at that time so I choose Devanagari JIT for my engineering study. I have selected this college in the second round of counselling. In the first round I was selected Nitte Meenakshi college, Banglore later I changed my mind and opted for the Jain institute of technology.

I had an interest in physics at PUC so I chose electrical and electronics engineering. The quality of the college faculty is good and they are friendly with us. Our strength in our classroom is about 70. Our lecturers are PhD holders and a few are mtech holders. For 6 months once we had semester exams within 6 months we have to write 3 internal tests for 25 marks. As we study regularly for the internals so the main semester exam was not so difficult for us to clear.

The students are eligible for the campus placement from the 7th semester. Diya company visited our college for campus selection. They hired more than 25 students from our college. Around 4 to 5 companies visited our college. Not all 100 percent of students got placement but all eligible students got jobs in campus placement.

I didn't get any of the scholarships from the college as I am a general category student, I didn't get an opportunity to apply for scholarship. I got a job on the college campus. Almost 20 students got jobs in the same company.

We celebrated the college annual fest in the name of Shrunga. We also celebrated rose day ethnic day in our college. Also conducted some fashion shows during the ethnic day. Every branch department had a forum. Our electrical department conducted forum functions for every semester. As we are the first batch for JIT, the availability of books is very less for us. Year by year they provided the best books in the library. College campuses have basketball and throw ball playgrounds and every year college conducted sports day.
