Remarks
My admission took place by an exam which is conducted by the university itself. After clearing the exam I was called for the counseling. The students was considered according to their rank. After getting my preferred stream, i was asked to submit registration and security fees.
Course Curriculum Overview
The only reason for choosing "integrated btech-mtech CS" was to save a year. The duration of this course is 5 years. The faculty are really helpful and teach with good methods. The term exams are conducted every six month and the exams are moderate.
Internships Opportunities
Bsnl, NMRC etc are the companies which offer internship to the students. Mostly students get internship from the campus. The stipend varies according to the roles offered under internship. The major projects are marketing research, website development, mobile app development and digital marketing strategies.
Placement Experience
Students get eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. Wipro, TCS, directi, BSNL and many companies visit the university. The highest package offered in the university was 22 lakh per annum. The average package offered in the university is 6 lakh per annum. Around 75% of the students got placement from the university.
Fees and Financial Aid
Academic and accommodation fees sums up to near 2 lakh per year for btech. The fees are not much if we compared to other universities and colleges. The fees varies from batch to batch, new batch pay more than previous batch as their is a hike in academic fees every year. But some Eligible students got UP scholarship of around 50k per year.
Campus Life
Abhivyanjana is an annual fest which is conducted in the month of October and it is considered as the biggest event in the university. Apart from the fest, the university has a very large library with thousands of book. The university provide students with an excellent sports experience. It have a very large indoor stadium and court for many sports. Overall the campus life is really good because of the large campus and the facilities.
Hostel Facilities
Students get single room with a balcony in the hostel. The hostel will provide you with an almirah, a chair, a table, a shelf for books and a bed along with a LAN connection with a very good speed. All hostels in the university have a separate mess. The meal quality is average but some day you get something good to eat. Registration process are quite simple for hostel, you just need to attach hostel fees receipt with a form that is provided to you by the warden of the hostel and you have to submit it to the warden. The fees of mess and hostel are affordable.
