I am pursuing B.Tech from NIET.

Placement Experience

I am in the final year and expecting good companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc to visit the campus (as told by my seniors).

Campus Life

Infrastructure is average with all required facilities like hostels, library, well-maintained classrooms etc. Although college will not encourage for indulging in extra-curricular activities yet you can push yourself really hard to join the one editorial club is the best.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel charge is 45,000 which doesnt seem to be too high as it save you from hassle of commuting daily and it also saved my two hours. Location brings a sense of boredom no places to hang out except Ansal Plaza. Cafeteria is very small serving only limited variety of food so we usually rely on roadside dhabas.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

Attendance should be 75% failing which one of my batch-mates was detained.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
