Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical engineering is said to be evergreen. 3 to 4 teachers are available per subject, besides that, we have Mentors to guide us through our problems, every faculty is a professional in their fields and has amazing achievements. Most professors are Ph.D. holders or pursuing Ph.D., some are book authors that are being referred by other colleges under Mumbai University, Teaching methods are outside the box. exams are held every month and are easy to pass if you attend lectures.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered by the placement cell at our college, although this factor cannot be judged by the online batch of 2021 but can be assured that a number of students get timely internships. Project-based learning is followed in our curriculum which gives us students some practical knowledge and industry insights
Placement Experience
20-30 percent of students were placed in mechanical, the average package offered was close to 10lpa, L&T, Tech Mahindra, etc were the top companies, 50 to 60 percent of students from my batch got internships at Royal Enfield and other companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 1,20,000 but there are a number of opportunities to avail of a scholarship, EBC scholarship is availed by most students having low income, Framjee Casawjee institute also provides scholarships to students from every branch.
Campus Life
Facilities, infrastructure available are top-notch, Free Wi-Fi available all over the campus, CNC labs, 3D printing labs, Mechanical labs, Workshops, and libraries are available for use at any time, hostel facilities are good, boys hostel is at a distance from the college, a number of activities are conducted to keep them occupied. Indian cricketer is an alumni of Pillais College.
