Remarks

I had got into this college through mht-cet where I had secured 110 marks in the exam, I am the last person to get into this branch, after getting the name in the list had frozen my option because due to the college reputation in terms of placement and all.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty are very supportive no doubt they will help you at there level to get into an internship and get the experience, we had planned atleast 1-2 industrial visit in semester and that were awesome experience some of the company we visited were indian oil corporation in wadala , ICE in vasai and one of the plant in palghar.

Internships Opportunities

The internship I got through campus is in Raychem RPG. A very good company and likely to offer ppo to as I got from them they were supportive and also the staff make sure that whoever enrolled in the internship get get it in one of the companies so, that is the good part for yourself.

Placement Experience

Placements are good around 450+ offers were got in last year and around 75 + offers were above 5 LPA so there is a good chance for getting placed in top company, companies were visited in the campus were every giant service-based company like TCS, Infosys, cognizant, Capgemini, BrowserStack, hind rectifier and many more the total count was around 150+ companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are similar to other colleges around 1 lakh and 7 thousand, but you can go for a scholarship like EBC where you will get your many backs up to 50% so, that is the relaxation you can get from that scholarship. Try to get through tfws as it can cut down your fees marginal well.

Campus Life

Good campus their various club but I was not part of it. But you can explore after the first year, as you won't be allowed in the first year for this curriculum there are football club cricket club and many more events during oct-nov soo participate in and enjoy the moment.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. SFIT the brave,the bold and the pressured

I entered thru cap round which plays a significant role in course eligibility in prestigious colleges , this college was recommended to me by a long stream of family members and it has lived upto a part of its reputation. I didn't get rejected but SFIT my 3rd most important college as I had to check for other better colleges which i knew i couldn't get in as part of a strategy. Eligibility depends on aspects like college minority and minority eligibility in this case Catholic or Christian need to have 65 plus in percentile of CET .
