My Life at Reva University

Our university is a private university which is approved by UGC and is a member of AIU. Also, it ranked 89 for private MBA university by The Week. Furthermore, the MBA fees is 3 lakhs for 1 year and it is much affordable than other private colleges/university in the city. Moreover, the placement rate is more than 90% and for recruitment, the top companies participate. Therefore, these are the reasons due to which I took admission into this college. The admission to this college was on the basis of marks obtained in undergraduate and CAT exam. Therefore, first of all, I filled the application form and provided all the required details along with the score of CAT and made the payment of application fee as well. Lastly, based on my score, I got selected and received offer letter for admission.

MBA at Reva University is 2 years post graduate program spread over 4 semesters. The courses that are covered in MBA program include marketing management, business statistics, managerial accounting, management and organization behaviour, and others. This program aims at developing the value added leadership quality, communicate effectively with various clients or stakeholders and make us future ready managers.Also, the faculties of my department are quite experienced and they impart us with with both conceptual and theoretical knowledge.Also, skill development sessions are conducted to enhance our personality, communication skills, managerial skills, negotiation skills, and others.Moreover, it becomes very easy for all of us to clear semester exam as our faculty members impart classroom lectures with the help of case studies, live projects, and also organise group discussions to gain more knowledge.

The leading companies that visit our campus to participate in placement drive.Therefore, the top recruiters include Capgemini, Nvidia, DHL, Tata Consultancy Services, DellEMC, KPIT, Terralogic, and others. Most importantly, the placement record of our university has been 100%. Further, the highest package offered last year was 20 LPA and the average package stood at 5.5 LPA. Every year, more than 300 companies visit our campus from IT/ITes, finance, E-commerce, FMCG/FMCD, manufacturing, Media & Entertainment, and so forth. Moreover, after completing MBA from this University, I will get a job in a top organisation.

The fee for MBA program I paid was 3 lakhs in the first year and same for the second year as well. Therefore, in total, I paid 6 lakhs including tuition fee, admission fee, caution deposit. Moreover, I paid extra amount for hostel, mess, and transportation. However, our college also provide scholarship to the eligible students for MBA program. So, the criteria is like those who obtain 85.01 & above and have done undergraduate from Reva University get Rs. 15000 as scholarship amount whereas for merit based scholarship, 25000 is provided. Besides, those with 75.01 to 85.00, 10000 is given to the graduates of Reva University and 15000 for meritorious students.Apart from this, sports scholarships, siblings scholarships, defence/paramilitary and police scholarship are provided.

The events that are conducted in our University include Reva Expo which is also declared as Open Day. In addition to this, Cultural Extravaganza, celebrity evening, innovation and entrepreneurship conclave, alumni meet, and many others. Also, there are too many clubs for our department which are Entrepreneurship club, E-magazine club, TEDX. In addition to this, there are sports club for various sports like adventure club, football club, athletics club, Trekking club, kabaddi club, meditation club, reading club, innovation club, alumni club, and many more.Also, hostel, library, canteen, and other facilities are provided in our university and so, my campus life here has been dynamic from the beginning.
