The college has well experienced staff. The alumni are leading various multinational companies. The college recently has also developed startup culture. The college encourages and helps students to progress with their ideas and build and income out of it. The college has many tech teams which help in developing and innovating.
Course Curriculum Overview
The College has a very experienced staff who themselves have worked in the industry hence that was my first reason for selection.The students are encouraged to join tech teams, participate in competitions. The college conducts 2 unit tests before the main semester. The students are also given mini projects for each subject which helps in understanding the real world application.
Internships Opportunities
The college conducts internships fairs once in a year. There are many councils which conduct internship fairs. Few companies visiting for placements also provide opportunities for internship. Teachers also help in finding internships.
Placement Experience
The students securing above 60% till the 6th semester is eligible for the placements. However the eligibility varies from company to company. The average package was 3 lpa and the max package was 12 lpa. Only 1 core company visited the campus providing a CTC of 4 lpa.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college has many scholarships for students who are economically weak. The college also provides scholarship to students who are academically strong. The college has a good alumni base hence many times the alumnis come forward to sponsor the fees of the deserved student.
Campus Life
The college is situated in a very beautiful place in Mumbai. The College has many places near by to hangout. The college conducts a number of events which makes the academic year a lot more fun. The college also has many sport teams. The council's also conduct various events such as trekking, marathon etc
Hostel Facilities
The college does have a small hostel where a maximum of 20-30 students can stay. The hostel is situated around 20 kms away from the college hence traveling becomes an issue. The hostel doesn't have a mess. The college has a warden at the hostel. No other facilities the hostel has.
Admission
No there was no interview, group discussion or written test for the admission. The admission was purely based on the marks scored in the CET exam. The selection criteria keeps changing as per the rules from Mumbai University or Maharashtra board.
