MBA at Doon University

The university is graded 'B++' by NAAC and the placement ranges from 50% to 60%. The eligibility criteria for getting admission here for MBA is to get 50% in graduation along with which appearance in CAT or MAT and getting a valid marks is must. Selection process will entirely depend upon on the score in MAT or CAT which will be followed up by a group discussion round and a personal interview round. The main and final admission depends on the score of the overall process.

There are two semesters each year. One is summer semester and other is winter semester, which based on the system of UGC India. The faculties at Doon University are well qualified. Few faculties are Ph.D and few are NET qualified. They are very supportive and helpful. The exams at Doon are of moderate level. If one studies well, can help in getting good marks in exams.

The placement range of this university is about 50% to 60%. during the final year of their course, the students become eligible for placement. Companies like TCS, Amazon, infosys, JCB, Pantaloons, wipro, honda, reliance digital visit the campus for selecting some good students. In 2021, total 26 companies visited the campus and 144 students were placed through the campus selection. About 81 students were self-placed. In total, 225 students were placed in the above mentioned year. The highest salary package offered is about 8LPA and the average salary package is about 3LPA.

The first year fee is about 81750 and that of second year fee is 74000. So, there is no hike in the fee. The fee is very affordable for a professional course. The university helps the economically weaker students. But, these students must be good at academics and should maintain CGPA above 7 in order to avail scholarship facility. It gives scholarship to any student who maintains good CGPA throughout.

Like any other college or university, Doon also has a cafeteria, library, labs, sports complex for sports like badmintion, carrom, etc. gym, hostel, etc. inside the campus. It has a mediocre levelled library with medium level collection of books. It has 69 journals and approximately 40-50 e-journals. The campus has Wi-Fi connectivity along in the hostels. There are many workshops, events and seminars organized for the students.
