Remarks

The minimum mark required for admission at SRU is significantly lower than other universities, so average students like me can get in easily. I scored very average marks in the CBSE exam, so I selected this university. The merit list was published based on the score of 10+2 (minimum eligible 40%). The infrastructure of the university was seemed very nice to me after taking into account all information.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because the curriculum of this course is very industry-oriented. The different subjects like Marketing Management, Business Ethics, Business Economics, Business Statistics, Business Mathematics, Banking Procedure & Technology, Insurance, and Risk Management were parts of our syllabus. We got the opportunity to learn from some brilliant faculty members. Practical topics of the curriculum were taught through internal training, external training, and project work. We had for semesters with different modules and 100 marks allotted to each module.

Placement Experience

3.5

Since I wanted to continue my studies after graduation, I did not take part in the campus placement. Our university made tie-ups with some organizations to provide different pieces of training to the students for skill development. Some of the companies that took part in the campus recruitment program are Serco India, Rapid Metro Gurgaon Ltd, Varroc polymers Pvt Ltd, Yazaki India Ltd, Calif technology, and Forcefox Technologies Pvt Ltd. The companies offered the average salary package of 2 lac.

Fee Structure And Facilities

SRU has a committee to look after the matter of financial supports and scholarship facilities. We had paid Rs.22,000 per year and Rs. 2200 exam fees per year. SRU has a training and placement cell to support the students. We participated in different seminars organized by the university in collaboration with different companies.

Campus Life

3.5

Different books, national, international journals, educational General CDs made our fully furnished central library the place attraction to us. Our lecture theater was also well furnished with modern furniture and audio-visual aids. A modern auditorium, hi-tech computer labs, gymnasium, cafeteria, herbal garden were parts of our campus. Different events like UDAAN, ABHINANDAN SAMROH, seminars, and workshops were part of social life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum overall offers a balanced mix of theoretical foundations and practical exposure, making it fairly relevant for students aiming to build strong academic knowledge while preparing for real-world scenarios. Below is a detailed breakdown based on various aspects of the curriculum plus Exams are generally conducted at regular intervals, which helps students stay consistent with their studies. The timing of assessments—spanning internal tests, mid-sems, and final exams—ensures that students are evaluated both continuously and comprehensively. However, sometimes exams may feel closely spaced, which can cause stress. A slightly more balanced schedule between consecutive assessments would be helpful

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.
