Remarks
The admissions at SU are based on the CAT score. I also attended a GD/PI after being shortlisted. The institution had offered good quality education and had good faculties. This was the reason why I joined SU for my MBA. The registration fee was Rs. 1500. I also attended an interview. The questioned they asked were mainly concerning the core subjects and my interest in them.
Course Curriculum Overview
The MBA course is aimed at bring out well polished professionals. And the syllabus at SRU caters to this. The syllabus is updated very often and is relevant to the times. We had a lot of extra discussions and workshop sessions. We were given opportunities to visit industries and experience the various aspects first hand. SRU offers more than four branches of specializations and they cater to the talents of all students.
Placement Experience
We are allowed to attend placements from the third semester. Some companies that visit our campus include HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, TCS and Infosys. Almost 85% students usually are placed during these placements. CTC differs every year; however the highest package comes around 10 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
SRU is a comparatively affordable university. The total tuition fee that I paid for the two year course was 130000. This does not include the hostel and the mess fee. We were provided with financial help, but they are based on needs. At times scholarships based on merits are also availed.
Campus Life
We had many student run communities and clubs. Our teams also participated in many inert college competitions. So we frequently went to other neighboring colleges for such events. We had a library, gym, medical center, bank and cafeteria in the campus. Thus the overall campus life that SRU offered was good.
