MU Review

MU is one of the desired colleges, I wanted to go to. So I just filled in the necessary details in the application form which is easily available on the university official portal. I also had to submit my CAT score as if one has not given CAT, they simply can appear in the CET (entrance exam) conducted by the university. Then I waited till the counselling rounds and I qualified in the first round. I also had to appear for the GD and PI rounds.

Our university has well-designed courses correlated with futuristic aspects. We get a chance to read and learn in accounting, managing, finance, etc. I want to become a Logistic Planner and hence I opted for this course. Half of our faculties are PhD holders with expertise in different niches. We have two exams in an academic year including external and internal examinations.

Students from the 3rd year start getting hired for the several crucial companies that come to the campus. Companies like, Amazon, Dell, Idea, Wipro, etc. are the prominent hires of the college. The highest salary package was offered by HCL at INR 10 LPA. The average salary is INR 5 LPA. 90% of the students got hired in our college. I also want to avail myself of such placements like my senior as I want to become a Logistics Planner in future.

University has a moderate fee structure as I had to submit Rs. 4.07 L for the first year. Tuition fee is the sector where I want some changes as it is quite unaffordable for a student like me but somehow I managed. The first-year fee includes tuition fees and miscellaneous charges. Yes, our university does provide scholarship opportunities based on the income pattern of an individual. A loan facility is also available at our university. Students can also pay their fees in instalments.

Our university organises Product Mela, Guest lectures, Flash Mob, etc. I had been president of the Singing club in our college. So we also have societies and clubs where we get a chance to explore ourselves. Every month we have such activities and events. Our college has wi-fi connectivity, a big library, different labs, workshops, etc. where we get a chance of doing different activities.

Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds are also crucial to fix a seat at Mu. I also had to face such rounds where I had given a topic on which I need to discuss with my fellow mates. In the Personal Interview round also, they asked me about myself and my academics. I actually, didn't prepare for these rounds but made it well.
