The college is having great infrastructure with highly qualified staff for the subject that I elected. Also the college is situated at the heart of the city and has beautiful green surrounding. The college has a separate hostel available for the students coming for far distance. There is also a special bus for students those who reside in the hostel. The canteen in the college is totally higenic available almost 24x7. The clerical staff in the college is very supportive, they personally halp each and every student going for admission and thereafter. For me the admission process gone smooth, all the procedure was completed in a hour or two. Also this is one of the college which offers least admission fees. The only bad aspect that I felt was lack of encouragement for the co-curricular activities. But apart from that everything is upto the mark

Course curriculum is totally based on Mumbai University as this college is affiliated to mumbai university. I choose this course because I had passion about computers and software developement. The faculties in the college are all supportive for the academics. Everyone is highly qualified and helpfull in solving student difficulties. The faculty to student ration is approx 1:10

The internship opportunities are not offered by college. The student has to serch for internships. Mostly companies do not provide stipend for interns. About projects- The project group consists of 3 members, in some cases 4 are allowed and a dedicated mentor is provided for each team which reviews the progress of the project or guides the project. The team has to show the progress to the mentor each week. The project work is fully structured in the first PPT only so as to complete the project on time.

Students become eligible for placement drives from 7th semester. Lots of companies do approach the college for placement and the placement team makes sure that lot of students get placed. Also there are special talks organised by industry professionals for the students so that student can learn about the actual practical scenarios going on in industries. The approx fee for general student is around 70,000 for each year including everything apart from hostel. There are lots of scholarships offered by college like P.P. Chhabria scholarship. The financially weak students can also apply through EWS category where the student has to pay only few thousands for the year. There is special Training and Placement cell which works for campus jobs. They provide company specific training for the students who wants to apply for the job. They invite experienced professional for the talks and to help students in gaining the job. There are a lot of opportunities for a practically strong student to get a job through campus placements, many companies approach for the recruitment, you see the recruitement statistics on college portal and also the whole T&P team works hard for the placements.

The social life in Finolex College is amazing. Every branch is having its own association which organises technical events throughout the year. There is annual gathering named UTOPIA which offers students to express their co curricular skills.

Hostel facility is too good for students coming from remote areas. Also there are some hsotels nearby college campus which offers accomodation in affordable prices. The rent for college hostel is pretty high but students can stay in nearby hostels.

There is no GD, Interview or written test for the admission. The whole process is based on the marks obtained in CET or JEE. For the admission, the student must be having all the documents such as Aadhar, Marksheets, etc. College does not retain the documents after verification. There is total transparancy in transaction, student gets receipt for each penny he/she pays.
