Remarks

Well the admission process was kinda slow but. If you are lucky your paperwork will be done in 30 min or a full day but once you receive your forms it's all about 30 mins from that. The stuff is super cool and isn't rude. They very politely tell you anything you ask them and try to clear your doubts regarding the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams were of good levels and were moderate. Not too difficult but at the same time not too easy. The internals exam happened twice in first semester but in second semester pattern was changed exam happened after every unit (5 units per subject). And one complete course test, also quizzes used to happen at the regular time. The teachers are good they clear your doubts they know their subject very well as well as they are not too hard on you. They provided materials and also took extra doubt clearing sessions.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies provide internship opportunities at our college. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Infosys, TCS etc. They also provide stipends up to 30k per month and sometimes provide pop. This means you get a job confirmation while working as an intern at that company but that totally depends on individual skills amd capabilities and the company he/she joined.

Placement Experience

The placement starts from 3rd year mainly and many students get placed in big companies like amazon Infosys etc with nice packages like 10 to 15 lakhs also the highest package almost got to 40 lakhs depending on your skills and capabilities. Almost 95 % of students get placed. I am focusing on getting a good package and to do my master's side by side.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees aren't that much as compare to other colleges and universities. Also, they provide a period of time. This means if you pay your fees in a certain period of time you'll get an 8% off on your fees. There are always internships comings from various companies like Amazon and others.

Campus Life

There are various clubs to join in gcet where you can do various activities like coding dancing singing even gaming. Social activities. But there isn't any sports club that kinda a setback. But gcet has a big ground where students can play whatever they want they are allowed to play anything. The library almost holds every book we need and it is very easy to issue books from. Library. Also, fest happens here the unifest is very popular and very great full to be a part of many students from other colleges come to see and enjoy.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Likes

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placement Experience:

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

Dislikes

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

Poor management regarding any issue and problem

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. At the time of counselling, GCET is my 3rd preference as I have properly researched about it and matches with my eligibilty criteria as well. I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch.
