Remarks
I Only applied To Aligarh Muslim University. There Was an Entrance Exam of 200 marks out of which I Scored 120 Marks. The admission process was quite smooth and counselling and document verification were done quite comfortably. The university staff was quite helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview
MSc remote sensing and GIS is a very unique course that paves that path for a student to grow in its respective field. The faculty: student ratio is 1:3. The faculty is highly qualified and helpful and always motivates students to grow higher. Exams are conducted timely and are not very difficult if you have gone through the course for one time.
Internships Opportunities
Esri, Planet Labs are a few of the companies that came for internships. I worked on a project of UP WAQF BOARD and they offered a stipend of 50k. That project helped me a lot and provide me with a lot of knowledge.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from the 3rd semester. Around 10-15 companies offered different roles in different domains. Around 40 % of students got placed. I am going for higher studies. The average package offered was 5.4 L.
Fees and Financial Aid
Cost to study is quite efficient and everyone can study at Aligarh Muslim University. Fees are quite low and scholarships are available for laborious students. Financial assistance is available for those who come from low income facilities.
Campus Life
The annual fest is ZARF and it is held in the month of February - March. The library is fully equipped with books, journals and magazines. Classrooms are fully furnished and equipped with amenities. various groups and clubs are present in universities like Drama Club, Eco Club.
