Worth it college.

My rank was not so good so I applied for core branches as my main options. Applied in mnit Allahabad, Jaipur, Kurukshetra, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Calicut, Patna, and some more. But I got to Jamshedpur and I was accepted because of its network during placements, and infrastructure. I didn't avail any quota because I'm a general student. Admission is done according to jossa rules and regulations which is conducted in 6 rounds. The cutoff changes every year but nothing much changes. You can refer to the cutoff list for many details.

I was allocated that course because of my rank and I wanted to study at NIT. Faculty student ratio is very good around 16:1 All are PhD. Teaching is now a day online through slides, ppts, pdfs, etc. Exams are very timely. Passing is not so difficult but takes care of engineering graphics.

I'm in my second year and have not visited the campus due to the deadly coronavirus. I can't tell anything because I haven't experienced anything yet. Much more is yet to be discovered. I have heard that institutes provide opportunities to students so that they can avail internships.

The Students who have completed their third semester I think they are quite eligible for campus placements. Around 150 companies visited our campus and many more are coming soon. Highest package I think is 43 lac p.a. Around 85 to 90 percent of total eligible students are likely to be placed in.

The fee Structure I think is quite high. But they provide assistance so that students can apply for different scholarships. I have applied for fee remission on the basis of my financial situation. But the process of fee remission is very bad and annoying.

There are many valuable clubs and annual fests conducted on the campus run by students themselves. But as we are attending online classes so haven't experienced a single moment. I'm excited about the sports club URJA and want to participate in it.

As our semesters are going in online mode so I can't tell anything about it because I have not experienced anything about the meas or hostel facilities, and arrangements for the respective room. I have heard that 5he rooms are quite pleasing. You will not get any difficulty while joining it.
