Remarks
This was a government college affiliated with Alagappa University, Sivaganga. In Tamilnadu higher education board launch an open common link, Candidates can apply the application through the portal by the college code. When they apply they call for document verification and the board of the University choose the candidates based on their community and obtained marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
When I joined this course in Alagappa government arts college it was a rare and unknown department to common people. But nowadays it was well known to others. Because of the knowledge of this course and try to learn something new make I choose it. The faculty of the department is awesome, experts. In my academic year, the ratio of the students and faculty is 51:7.
Placement Experience
The college of alagappa arts committee arranged placements per year once. The companies nearby karaikudi and its surrounding areas hiring students for work. After getting a degree, better to prepare for competitive exams. Only this is the right way to shine.
Fees and Financial Aid
TamilNadu government give scholarship to the college students based on community and percentage of 12th mark known as a minority and sc st scholarships. The fee for the course is only 3040 for three years.
Campus Life
Geology Our department was established around 1947. Therefore plenty of indian and foreign author's book available here and also the speciality of this department is ofcourse museum. Here the rare and paleo fossil collection, minerals, rocks samples were given the detailed knowledge of the course Geology.
