All about Sipna College of Engineering and Technology

I'm from Amravati Maharashtra and I'd completed my HSC board in 2019 and accordingly, I'd applied for some Engineering colleges. The first preference I'd given was Govt. College of Engineering Amravati, Secondly Sipna COET, third Prof. Ram Meghe old, fourth PR. Pote. Selection in Govt was not possible as I'd less percentile in JEE and CET. I'd taken many reviews from teachers and my seniors and they advised me Sipna COET. I got my Admission in Sipna COET in Computer Science and Engineering on my JEE based percentile. I'd applied through OBC based quota. Fees vary category wise. In the first year, I'd paid fees of a total of 51732 INR. and after the OBC quota, I got some concession. Students should complete their HSC and should apply on the CET portal for the admission process. After that, you've to visit your nearest College which does the admission process and they will guide you accordingly. Minimum marks vary year to year, if you don't get admission on your score apply through Management quota(T&C)

I'd optioned Computer Science in 12th and so I thought CSE would be a good option for me. Understanding the latest trends I thought this will be best for me. The faculty at Sipna is well-experienced; several faculties are PhD holders and have a good command over their subject. Teachers are friendly in nature and help to sort out problems. Most of the teachers have a traditional teaching method. While some teachers teach practically. Self- learning is very important in Engineering, we can't just rely completely on teachers. Though they help us in every possible way they could. Sipna Organizes Sessional exams Twice a Semester and holds an extra Practice exam for students who have failed, also provides some Question bank for practice. Checking of paper is as per University Standards and the paper to is of Moderate Level. Passing is not too hard nor too easy. It depends completely on the student how much he has learned. Overall, the experience of the Faculty is quite good.

Probably are 6-7th SEM students can apply for placements. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, cognizant, IBM and many more visits every year and students get recruited. In 2018-19 till date, 300+ students have been placed. Average salary offered is 3.5-4 lakhs+ LPA. Both ON campus and OFF campus students get recruited. Details about highest package is not revealed yet by the college. After getting the degree I would try both ON and OFF campus to get the best placement. Upgrading your knowledge time to time is most important so that you can get the best placement both on ON campus and OFF campus.

Fees vary category wise. In this review, I'll be talking about the OBC category. For the First year in CSE, fees for the OBC category is 51732, in the Second year 45K+ and the third year it was 45092 INR. We have to apply for some Scholarships to get some concessions. Apply through the MahaDBT portal; colleges inform us as the filling of Forms start. This fee is for those students who got admission based on their CET and JEE percentile. If one applies through Management quota fees and process completely varies. We have to fill scholarship forms on our own. There are many Scholarships based on the Category and Annual Income of parents. The placement is quite good here. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, cognizant, etc come here with an average package of 4-4.5+ LPA(Package may vary According to companies). Some companies provide internships with an average stipend of 10K+(Stipend may vary). Overall, you can get a complete info. in college.

Every year in February, A grand Annual Fest is organized. Students and Teachers are completely charged up and everyone prepares for Annual tech. It's one of the best moments one experiences in his life. Accordingly, many other short programs like tech fest, shiv Jayanti, and many more are continuously arranged by college staff and students. There is a library facility where students can borrow books and study. Also, Computers are set up for students who want to use them with WiFi facilities. Librarians are very friendly and helpful if needed. Classrooms are well Organised clean and a CCTV facility is provided. Students can practice sports. The college has well equipped sports types of equipment. Some Students are Color coat holders at the university level. Many Social groups like Sipna Nature club, carnival club, readers club, entrepreneurs clubs etc are there, you can participate in any as per your wish. Overall, Social Activities in colleges boost students and give them a memorable Engineering life.
